Abbiamo già riflettuto sulle soundtrack e sulle prime informazioni inedite sul film in questo vecchio post.
Ora, cosa ne penso del trailer? Meglio attendere il trailer in italiano per capirne meglio il pathos e le emozioni soprattutto per noi madrelingua italiani. Per adesso posso dire che mi convince molto la scena iniziale del furgone, mentre la scena di lotta finale la trovo molto finta e "ritoccata". Le musiche sono poco azzeccate (vi rimando alla discussione nata nel post di oggi di Valechaos) e gli attori ambigui: Kirsten Stewart poco espressiva come attrice, Edward molto ritoccato nelle foto delle locandine (meglio in video) e James attraente nelle foto e molto meno in video. Voi che ne pensate?

We took a short cut through the Lion house, and saw a leopard and a tiger. I was trying to get a little excitement out of him by pointing at the tiger. But in truth, he was more interested in the colorful camera booth. I just couldn't justify $5.00 for stickers with us surrounded by animals on it. Not yet, at least. We did see the apes playing outside, eating grass. But he reacted more like, "yawn-been there, done that." I thought he would be more excited if we went indoors, but as we approached the door, a sign indicated the Ape house  was closed. So, he advocated for us getting a snack.

At that point, I surrendered. I bought him a Sponge Bob Popsicles. It was made with a mix of cotton candy, fruit flavoring and gum balls. I tried to comfort  myself that it was only 14 grams of sugar for all that crapt. So we sat together in this empty cafeteria listening to a baby howling in the distance. And then it was off to the gift shop for an alligator flashlight. At which point, he informed he was ready to go. So we got some popcorn for the road, and waited for the bus.

As we sat there, a thirty something, slightly chubby, caucasin man with gold wire rim glasses parted  wet, blondish hair, clean clothes and a soft voice, showed us the soft "cuddly"  tiger he purchased  "for his niece. " And then ranted about the prices at the zoo.

He's the kind of guy who could pass for normal, until you realize his poor social skills. Like he doesn't know how to interact in a conversation, but could talk endlessly, if no one interrupted.  He told, J to listen to his dad. Having just seen the movie, "Taxi Driver" the night before, I didn't want to risk the possibility of some crazy out of control lunatic jumping out of his skin. So I held J, and read another gross story about the Rugrats. 

As the bus approached,   the man got on the bus and looked like he waiting for us to join him; I said,.....It's too crowded, we're waiting for the next one.

Zeigeist es un documental que se está esparciendo como la pólvora por internet y por los mercados de todo el mundo.

Por muy crítico que se sea, el vídeo muestra ciertas verdades de difícil discusión, corroboradas por numerosas personas.

Muchas de las cosas que se dicen en este documental son conocidas por casi todo el mundo, si bien, a veces son también ignoradas.

Pero hay otras muchas cosas que no se han hecho eco en los medios de comunicación ni en la sociedad.

Tal vez con un tinte demasiado sensacionalista, Zeitgeist nos muestra el origen de las religiones, explica por qué se "sabe" que el 11 de septiembre fue un gran montaje y cómo los poderosos controlan el mundo, manipulándonos como marionetas.

3. No prestes atención a los hombres detrás de la cortina

Viéndolo con ojo crítico se puede extraer un montón de información valiosa pero desagradable. Desagradabilísima. Solo diré que la primera vez que lo vi, no pude terminarlo. Después de la segunda parte me tomé una tila y me acosté... Me dejó muuuy mal cuerpo.

This post is about the movie Jackass I. Normally, I avoid the Jackass show and movies like the plague. The only reason I know to avoid it is that I’ll catch a glimpse or two of it while passing through a television-watching area. To me (at least previously), Jackass has been all about overage adolescence and unadmitted sexual fetishes (I mean, really, applying electrical shocks to one’s erogenous zones can’t be all about getting a laugh). Jackass stunts are what you do when you can’t reproduce the species, the same as starting wars and taking over corporations.

Then I watched it. Why? I was too tired to get up from the couch when it came on. Then I was too fascinated to stop. Then, it got very very funny.

At first, I winced. A mostly-nude man skipping around with a red carbuncle right around the area of his gluteus medius, tormenting polite Japanese people, was exactly what I expected in the adolescence department. Then the car crashes began and I took my hands away from my eyes.

Johnny Knoxville was inside of a small white car, staring up at a spinning tire halfway through his windshield. He was in a destruction derby, and several cars had driven up on top of his. There was something funny to me about that tire, inches away from Knoxville’s face, turning and turning. Things got even funnier when I was told that the car was a rental.

Then this car, smashed down to about a 3^rd of its original size, was returned to the rental company. The counter and lot person were nearly speechless. What happened to it? they were asking. Knoxville tells them that at least he’s returned it with a full tank of gas.

At that point, I was in tears of hysteria. At that point I was thinking that Jackass was very cool.

Why? It’s irreverent. It reminds me of my life before the last five years. I played in punk bands. I never did what I was supposed to, and only what I wanted. I laughed every day, because everything was totally absurd, and that’s because no one followed the rules, and that’s because no one was smart enough to know what the rules were. I knew people who would make you laugh to look at them, and that’s because they wore weird clothes and weird hair, (probably because they didn’t brush the hair and had found the clothes in a dumpster), and the joy of that laughter came from the fact that they didn’t care. I know the rush that Knoxville feels when he jumps his golfcart over a hill and crashes. I’ve jumped off stages and not been caught. It hurts, but it’s fun.

I don’t think Johnny Knoxville cares either. And there’s a weird joy in that

2.I have always been a fan of the series and have loved it from start to finish. As soon as I heard they was doing a film, I knew I HAD to see it! They really could not have done a better film and even my boyfriend who I dragged along to watch it loved it too! It feels like I've been waiting forever for this film to come out on DVD but its now here and I will definatly be buying my copy! Definatly have some tissues ready because if your not crying, you will be laughing. It's a truely fantastic film!

3.When SATC first came out I wasn't that keen on it, being totally honest. Then the film came out, I went to see it and I was well and truly hooked, Samantha being by far my favourite character!!

Since the seeing the film I have bought all the series on DVD and I now truly love it. I hope they do a sequal....

Alot of people I know was on rail reading this book entitled, Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. According to them, it was a good novel and has a good end.

A story which entails a combination of suspense, desire, love and friendship with an awesome twist on the vampire genre!

Saya bukan pengamat film, tapi Saya merupakan salah satu orang yang KECEWA dengan film Ayat-Ayat Cinta, bukan seperti kebanyakan aktivis perempuan yang kecewa karena mengekspose Poligami, melainkan kecewa karena penggambaran setting Mesir yang sangat-sangat jelek menurut saya. Terlepas dari kendala biaya dan perijinan, film itu tak ubahnya seperti TELENOVELA yang beberapa tahun lalu sempat marak di TV kita. Sungguh sayang, cerita yang bagus itu akhirnya cuma menjadi seperti drama televisi yang sangat takut menampilkan setting outdoor.

Kami ini ingin melihat bagaimana penggambaran Universitas Al Azhar, Jalanan di Kairo, Sungai Nil yang indah itu dan tempat-2 yang oleh Kang Abik (penulisnya) digambarkan sangat detil dalam bukunya.

Saya berharap, KCB (Ketika Cinta Bertasbih) tidak mengulangi kesalahan yang sama dengan AAC. Terlebih nantinya akan melibatkan setting lokasi di Jawa Tengah seputar Kartasura. Buat kami yang paham sekali daerah itu, kami akan sangat "mengganjal" jika penggambaran lokasi itu salah.

Tulisan ini sekedar masukan, supaya semua yang terlibat dalam pembuatan film KCB ini total dalam melakukan pekerjaannya dan bisa menghasilkan karya yang bagus.
