By the end of November, Activision Blizzard will have this year delivered Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Guitar Hero World Tour for consoles, as well as Guitar Hero: On Tour and Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades for the Nintendo DS. For those counting, that's four all-new rhythm games in its popular Guitar Hero franchise. However, according to Activision Publishing president Mike Griffth, "the consumer still has an insatiable appetite for more." To that end, Griffth said during a presentation to analysts in September that the publisher is hoping to double the number of Guitar Hero SKUs in 2009, tripling it by 2010. To do so, Activision has begun laying the infrastructure for spin-off installments in the franchise. Not long after Griffth's presentation, Activision filed an application to trademark Dance Hero, an as-yet-unannounced property that joins the publisher's burgeoning list of squatted-upon titles, which also includes DJ Hero, Guitar Villain, and Drum Villain. This week, Activision has filed yet one more application to trademark with the US Patent and Trademark Office, this time for Guitar Hero Modern Hits. Descriptors for the filing include "computer game software and related instruction manual sold together as a unit," "interactive video game programs," "downloadable computer game software," "video game controllers," and "interactive video game comprised of a cartridge or DVD sold as a unit with a video game controller." Guitar Hero World Tour is expected to arrive at retail for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and Wii on October 26. Activision reps confirmed that Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades will jam in stores November 16.

Ya están disponibles para ser descargadas las más recientes actualizaciones para PlayStation 3 (2.50) y PSP (5.0), así que si posees alguna de estas consolas, ve a descargarlas.

El firmware 2.50 para PS3 tiene como principal novedad el poder tomar fotos mientras juegas, mientras que el de PSP se destaca porque permite acceder a la PlayStation Store directamente desde la consola, sin la necesidad de una PC en medio.

*clears throat* What I mean to say, is that games still excite and amaze me; they still tease and titillate me; shock and pull at the strings of my heart. Basically, I haven't outgrown them yet (to my mom despise).

So it's no surprise that lately I've been starting up a few new games and keeping my eyes focused on the future of gaming (at least for the old systems that I own and play... -_- )

Ok, so the day before yesterday I dug out Gran Turismo 4 and had a few hours of fun. This put me in the mood for more racing, so I tossed in Flatout and killed the game in a little under a day (I finished early the next morning after 7 hrs of sleep). Flatout 2 has been out for years, so I'm going to see if I can pick it up for cheap on Amazon. After that I put in Maximo vs. The Army of Zin (a FANTASTIC game).

I'm still playing it today and I'm SO excited. The game doesn't seem to have aged much at all. The graphics, music, controls, artistic direction, levelscapes and gameplay and still tight and interesting. I'm LOVING it! lol Maximo vs. Zin is among my *most* favorite games for the PS2.
What's on the horizon? Well, how about LocoRoco 2 for starters! Yeah, like OMG!!! (and shame on me for not getting the first one yet, though I've played the demo numerous times; I'll pick this one up soon... I hope). Check out this crazy-sweet preview and see what I'm so psyched about!

Also, the creator that brought us Katmari Damacy, comes a new game- Noby Noby Boy (Nobi Nobi Boy). The game looks...well um...odd. Yeps. Check out an oddly odd preview here.
In other news- The Price is Right has released their own video game for Nintendo Wii and DS. I think I'll pick up a copy to play with mom. :)

Oh, and I'm stuck on Viewtiful Joe 2... I'll have to go to GameFAQS tdy. ^^;

As for the GameFAQS Character Battle VII- I'm doing as good as I usually do- which isn't that good at all. 68 pts.

EDIT: I feel guilty but, I picked up Advanced Wars 2 and Flatout 2 (b/c LocoRoco is still expensive) and charged them to my C.card. Yay for debt. >.<

Supostamente assaltaram um aramzém industrial em São Martinho. Furtaram cerca de 2 toneladas de cobre e ainda agrediram com violência um dos gerentes da empresa.
Tudo indica que se tratam dos mesmos individuos que em finais de Setembro assaltaram uma residência no Lombo dos Aguiares, em Santo António e ainda agrediram o proprietário da casa com um pé de cabra.
Foram constituidos arguidos mas vão aguardar em liberdade o desenrolar do processo.
