If you were confused about where Barack Obama came from, or why this moment in history is ripe for someone like him, after eight years of Republican rule, and now dealing with the effects of a business and economic philosophy that started with the Reagan Rebellion, I mean Revolution...if you were under the impression that he's merely a great candidate with a lot of great ideas about how to pull us out of this cesspool of shit and move us in a different direction, well, then, you silly dummy, you need to read Sandy's latest screed, which informs us that, actually, Obama is the culmination of a FIFTY SOME-ODD YEAR CONSPIRACY by Communists to TAKE OVER AMERICA.  Seatbelts fastened, tinfoil hats firmly affixed to heads, here we go:

This election long ago ceased to be a partisan battle between Republicans and Democrats. It really isn’t a contest over big and small government, higher or lower taxes, or even abortion and homosexual rights.

Not even about gays, Sandy?!?!  What is it, then?!?!

Somewhere along the way while most of us were enjoying our precious freedoms, taking kids to soccer, ordering pizza and listening to our iPods, there was another group of people who were at work to destroy America. Even as they enjoyed with us its benefits, they schemed and planned and, moment by moment, inch by inch gained a footing and we never realized the ground was shifting.

How long has this been going on, Sandy?!?!

You could say the groundwork was laid in the ’50s when radicals who were often synonymous with communists made a concerted attempt to destroy America through infiltration of media, government and labor unions. Top secret documents were leaked to the Soviets which resulted in the charge of treason for Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. America believed in punishing its traitors then and they paid with their lives.

Since the 50's, Sandy?!?!  The people who are doing this must be OLD!  I like Sandy's wistful remembrance of the time when America believed in killing the treasonous.  How distinctly Iranian of Sandy.

The children of the ’60s, raised in postwar prosperity on the “don’t discipline” philosophy of the wildly popular Dr. Benjamin Spock, were fertile young plants for leftist fodder. Throwing off all constraints, they embraced “free love,” unbridled drug use and turned with a vengeance on the parents whose system of values they had come from. Their indulgent refusal to embrace rules, coupled with legitimate simmering emotions of the black community over cruelty and discrimination, created the “perfect storm” of protest and violence—one group rejecting any restraint, the other rebelling from too much of it.

Surely the protest methods were as different as the participants. Hippies were often little more than clueless spoiled brats dulled by drugs, but others were serious radicals who preyed upon trouble and agitated it with the stated purpose of revolution. They wanted to overthrow the government of the United States of America. The black movement was characterized on the one hand by the high-minded non-violence of Dr. Martin Luther King, and on the other by the violent anger of the Black Panthers. The hate-filled factions of each, black and white, found each other and together nearly shipwrecked the country and undermined the Vietnam War. It was success for the rebellion in part … but not completely.

Sandy Rios, however, fondly remembers how awesome the Vietnam war was.  Headdesk.  Also, some people call it the "Civil Rights Movement," but just keep on calling it the "black movement," Sandy, really.  Here's where the fever dream gets really intense:

As those frustrated radicals came of age, they realized they would have to game the system, and improve their plans to accomplish their goals. They got advanced degrees and begin to fill colleges and universities. They slowly infiltrated the professional organizations of almost every major field of endeavor—education, medicine, retired citizens and unions. Gradually, these professional associations began to use their members’ money to fund leftist causes. Leftist leaders spoke for their membership as if they had the right. And perception became reality for the members. Then they did what all socialist regimes have done … they radicalized public school. They virtually eliminated the American story from history, removed civics, dumbed down math and science and English with outcome-based education. It became more important that kids had the right “thinking” on social and environmental issues than that they understood the academic disciplines. They took over law school faculties, co-opted many mainline Christian denominations—like Methodists and Presbyterians—and subtly replaced the teachings of scripture on man’s need for redemption with emphases on social justice and helping the poor. Man could now obtain his own redemption without any inconvenient mention of sin or moral behavior.

Yes, you see, pot-smoking hippies and blacks got together in a secret meeting and plotted their overthrow of the government, years in the future.  They alone got really good educations and stuff, and doggone it, they pushed all the conservative "minds" out of the colleges!  And then they became teachers and physicians and steelworkers, ohhhhh, the steelworkers, and they just quietly waited.  And waited.  And waited.  Then they gave money to gays.  And then?  And then.  They took all of the government classes out of the public schools and stuff, and I don't fucking know.  They took the crea-shun-izm out of the science classes and replaced them with science!  Yes!  We are constructing our own alternate reality here, and Sandy is our leader!  Yes...and math was replaced by...COMMIE MATH...and then they became LAWYERS...and...and...they went to church, but not for church, nooooooo, they went to distract people from hellfire and brimstone and convince people to do hippie commie pinko Jesus things like help the poor and they stopped burning witches!  Good god, I'm worried for this woman.

Once again they infiltrated Hollywood and news media, this time without consequence. In fact they managed to turn the consequences upon those opposing leftist views. They produced movies and reported news designed to support their view of the country—and it wasn’t a good one.

OH, OH, OH, they went back to Hollywood, because now they were free to be communists and, um, um, "E.T. phone home," well, what do you think that means?  Red Scare!  Red Scare!  And...um...

As with the communist agitators in Western Europe and later China, they learned to agitate, to find trouble and make it worse. Natural disasters, strikes, environmental concerns, the method was the same. Agitate. Stir up. Scare people and make things worse than they were so that people would look to their movement for “change.”

Yeah, see, 'cuz all those "scientists" who warn about things like "global warming" aren't really scientists at all, you see, they're Communists, and...earthquakes!  Every time an earthquake happens, there they are, the leftists, agitating, stomping up and down and making things shake harder, and, um...and "god a-fearin' Republicans" definitely haven't used a disaster or terrorist attack or war to scare the citizenry, nooooo...

For nearly four decades, while we were living our lives and enjoying our freedoms, they were working diligently to destroy them. And now their plans have found the perfect personification in the handsome and charismatic Senator Barack Obama.

And Barack Obama is actually 300 years old, because he was cryogenically frozen in a lab by...SAUL ALINSKY and...um...Hillary, we hate her again, right?  Let's mention Hillary Clinton!

They know who their inspiration is: Saul Alinsky, the ’60s author and philosopher of the left who profoundly influenced Hillary Clinton, Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn and Barack and Michelle Obama.

According to Oprah Winfrey's introduction page on the world-wide-web, the Oprah Winfrey Show is the highest-rated talk show in television history, seen by 15-20 million viewers each day in the U.S. in 205 television markets, and in 132 countries. In fact, it has been the number one talk show for 12 consecutive seasons. Since it's beginning in 1986 it has received 32 Emmy awards.

In 1996, Oprah began Oprah's Book Club designed to get America reading again. Each of the books selected has become an instant bestseller averaging sales of over 1 million copies each.

In 1997, Oprah was named Newsweek's "Most Important Person" in books and media, T.V. Guide's "Television Performer of the Year," the People's Choice Award for "Favorite Television Performer," and in 1996, Time Magazine recognized Oprah as one of America's "25 Most Influential People."

Tragically, America is almost obsessed with celebrity idol worship. Recent Gallup polls demonstrated how true this is when it asked Americans to list and rank the most influential women in recorded history. Oprah Winfrey ranked fourth! There is a common recognizable refrain that "When Oprah speaks, people listen."

However, the primary issue here is not that Americans tend to look to media celebrities as role models, although these people lead probably some of the least ideal lives to emulate. The issue before us is the steady stream of messages and advice that Oprah and her favorite guests communicate to the millions of people who are starved for meaning and purpose in life.

Clearly, Oprah Winfrey has been converted into the New Age Movement. And one of the biggest deceptions is that she apparently doesn't know it. Many of her favorite guests are major New Age proponents and authors, and Oprah contributes to the enormous popularity and sales of their books.

Some of these New Age guests (and a number of them make repeat appearances) are, Marianne Williamson, Barbara DeAngelis, LaVar Burton, Richard Carlson, Betty Eadie, Dannion Brinkley, M. Scott Peck, Sophy Burnham, Marilyn Ferguson, Kevin Ryerson, Shirley MacLaine, Sara Breathnach, James Hillman, and psychic medium and best-selling author, James Van Praagh.

Oprah is on a mission. Repeatedly stated, her "mission" is, "I want people to see things on our show that makes them think differently about their lives...To be a light for people. To make a difference...to open their minds and see things differently…how to get in touch with the spiritual part of their life." Unfortunately, the "light" Oprah offers is the "angel of light" (2 Corinthians 11:14), and "opening their minds," in this case means their brains fall out-they become empty headed (Romans 1:21-25).

Oprah was raised in a black Baptist church in Mississippi. It is not known whether she had a healthy exposure to Christianity or a distorted one, but she is clearly in the process of deconstructing Christianity and reframing it into a New Age perspective.

One of the most revealing examples was a recent show with guests Betty Eadie, (new age/Mormon author of Embraced By The Light and The Awakening Heart), Dannion Brinkley (new age author of near death experience books Saved By The Light, and At Peace With in the Light) and Sophy Burnham (new age author of A Book of Angels and Angel Letters).

During the show Oprah related, "I was raised a Baptist and we were too hung up on traditional ways. I was sitting in church and heard that God is a jealous God. I asked 'Why?' Come on-let's get over it!" She related a "jealous God" to an insecure God.

In the program Oprah revealed that she doesn't think God is hung up on what you believe about God-whatever that "force" is, it doesn't care what you call it. He doesn't have an ego problem. She states, "I believe in the FORCE-I call it God." She also said if you believe in a rhythm of nature and in love, then you believe in God.

Oprah, in typical New Age fashion, has reduced God to human limitations, and dismisses objective absolutes, substituting emotions as the criteria of truth. This constant refrain of a nebulous concept of love as a guiding principle is very deceptive.

God warns us that the heart is very deceptive (Jeremiah 17:9, Proverbs 12:20). Jesus warns that the heart is an untrustworthy guide for truth, especially the "uncircumcised" heart (Matthew 12:33-35, 15:18,19). New Agers have raised the level of feelings or emotions (intuition) as a navigator beyond all rational proportions.

Particularly instructive for us all is the fact that Oprah doesn't seem to be aware that she has been seduced deeply into the New Age world-view. We say instructive because one could relate to the subtle and deceptive processes that Oprah appears to have fallen prey to.

On one recent show a Christian in the audience challenged Oprah about being a "New Ager." Oprah responded, "I am not new age anything and I resent being called that. I am just trying to open a door so that people can see themselves more clearly and perhaps be the light to get them to God, whatever they may call that. I don't see spirits in the trees and I don't sit in the room with crystals."

Oprah has made the mistake of narrowly defining the New Age Movement. However, read the following beliefs expressed by Oprah over the last few years.

Oprah's close friend and sometimes guest, Shirley MacLaine described on a show how to meditate, going inside yourself, asking your own "intuitive Self" to seek answers to life's questions. Oprah responds, "You know, that is the same as the Bible says, 'Ask and it shall be given, seek and ye shall find'." Shirley confirms.

Oprah then asks Shirley, "When you connected to the higher Self...knowing that you can do anything that you want to do-is it what other people describe as being 'born again'?" Shirley nods, "Yes, probably."

It is amazing that so few people catch the duplicity of New Agers when they attack the authority and trustworthiness of the Bible and the Christian church, but then quote it-almost always out of context-or twist it so support their position. For example, Oprah had as her guests a New Age panel consisting of Don Curtis (a Unity minister and trance-channeler), Kevin Reyerson (Shirley MacLaine's channeler), and Marilyn Ferguson (New Age leader and author of The Aquarian Conspiracy. After comparing the evolution of the New Age Movement in our culture with the "new understanding" advent of the Protestant Reformation, Oprah states, "As I read more of Shirley MacLaine, crystals, and The Aquarian Conspiracy, it seems to me to say what the Bible has said for years. It is just that many of us were brought up with a more restricted, limited vision of what the Bible said."

(The Christian should require Oprah or other New Ager to explain on what basis they reject the clear historical communication in literary forms of the Bible in lieu of their very subjective, esoteric, surrealistic interpretations).

Don Curtis responds that the problem comes from "the literal interpretation within denominationalism, because no one really knows, (apparently no one but Mr. Curtis) through the filter of translation down through the ages, what the Bible really says...most of it and reincarnation was thrown out in 325 A.D. at the Council of Nicea." Oprah responds, "Right."

When this kind of pseudo-scholarship goes unchallenged the effect can be serious. How many non-Christians or even Christians are knowledgeable of church history, the early church councils and the science of Biblical textural criticism which through tedious research and archeology has allowed us to see how accurate and preserved the Bible is? Very few; and certainly not Oprah.

Oprah also related that, "One of the most important books I've read is Eric Buttterworth's (a New Age Unity leader) Discover the Power Within You. In it he said "Jesus did not come to teach us how divine He was but to teach that divinity was within us." Later she said that "It (claiming exclusive Divinity) would make Jesus the biggest egotist that ever lived."

On the recent show with new age panel Betty Eadie, Sophy Burnham, and Dannion Brinkley, Oprah positively alluded to the book Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, stating in summary, "..that one of the biggest mistakes humans make is to believe that there is only one way. Actually, there are many diverse paths leading to what you call God."

When corrected by a Christian in the audience that Jesus said He was the only Way, the panel lost their composure, coming unglued. Oprah reacted, "There couldn't possibly be only one way...Does God care about your heart or whether you called His Son Jesus?"

Oprah's consistent theme is to inspire people to take control of their lives, to not be controlled by others or by circumstances. She is always advising "You can choose what happens." While there is some truth and value to this philosophy it is fatally tied to the New Age philosophy. As Oprah states, "You are responsible for your life-the power of God is within you [whether you are a Christian or not], above you and through you. You control your life."

What this fails to acknowledge is that man does not define reality; man does not determine what truth is. The source of truth for our decisions and power is the one true God of all reality and He has communicated plenary propositional truths to us in the Bible and remarkably, uniquely in His incarnation in Jesus Christ.

Oprah, as with other New Agers, is not in pursuit and in communion with God but is in pursuit with the "image of God"-by elevating man to Divinity. The problem with this is the God of the universe has not called us to join ourselves to the creation but to Himself, "the Creator who is blessed forever" (Romans 1:25).

first, there's this.  louis farrakhan, leader of the nation of islam and silver-tongued deceiver of many, has gone as far as to hail barack obama's words as the words of "the messiah".  excuse me?  there are so many things that are disturbing about this.

as i was reading all these things, this passage from the gospel of luke immediately came to me...

what sorrow awaits you who are praised by the crowds,

woe to you when all men speak well of you,

and the message translation says it like this...

there's trouble ahead when you live only for the approval of others, saying what flatters them, doing what indulges them. popularity contests are not truth contests—look how many scoundrel preachers were approved by your ancestors! Your task is to be true, not popular.

all this is disturbing on many levels and i can't get away from it.

i know this isn't going to make me popular, but i really don't care.  but i must be honest and say that i have great concern, as a follower of Christ, supporting someone in this capacity who has the glowing adulation of so many who not only do not espouse my views and values, but many of whom have views and values at the far other end of the spectrum.

when i see so many people in morally-bankrupt hollywood practically foaming at the mouth to get obama into office... i'm not going to lie to you... i must ask deeper questions and wonder why.  i must question the motive.  what is lying underneath and driving this seemingly unquenchable passion that they exhibit and I must ask myself...

is my voice synonymous with those whose vehement disdain for anything of virtue is second only to their lust for power, money and greed ?

does oprah winfrey, who can't seem to make up her mind exactly who it is she serves, represent me?

do i lift my voice in concert with those whose "art" vigorously decries the values that are central to family to say, "i'm with you"?

do these people who day in and day out push the envelope of godlessness, immorality and indecency on a global scale actually speak for me?

In a new study conducted by marriage counselor M. Gary Neuman, it's estimated that one in 2.7 men will cheat -- and most of their wives will never know about it

Do men really cheat for reasons other than sex though?  And if they do, why would they admit it?  We're here to tackle that topic today.

 92% of the people the good Doctor surveyed said it wasn't about sex.  Now, that's just not even possible, and here's why.  Everything is about sex!  I repeat, everything is about sex.  It's not about feeling unappreciated or anything else, it's just how men (for the most part) are built.  When I walked to work in NYC each day I would see approximately 77 women each day that I wanted to have relations with (i just love that term - so PC, so clean).  That's it, I didn't care about what they were thinking, or where they were going, I just thought to myself - "Self, wouldn't it be great if we could just take a break and have sex right now."

Now, we all know this isn't rationale thinking.  Women are far too reserved to ever go for such a strange idea, but if they did, well then 100% of men would cheat for sex.  It's that simple.  The reason 100% of men do not cheat is because getting a woman into bed is difficult when you're married or in a relationship.  The risk is exciting, but it's also what holds you back.  You have to have an elaborate plan, and a way to get in and out of your one night stand that meshes with your day-to-day routine.

These men, this 92% that say they didn't cheat for sex, they lied.  They, more than likely, weren't quite satsified with WHO they cheated with and therefore justify it on other grounds.  If it was good, well then, it was all about the sex.  The problem for this group is that clearly they are still married, therefore, that means the other relationship ended.  If it ended after one day, they're feeling guilty and need to justify it, if it ended because they were a loser, or it just fizzled out, well then it's about something else entirely.  At a certain point even THAT relationship stopped being about sex, and the guy doesn't think of it in the same way he did when it first started and was just about the sex.

For the moment, Big Oil is keeping his massive ego in check and settling for the tag team belts, allowing ‘Quadruple R’ Randy ‘Road Rage’ Richards to go for the PCW Title. We’ll see just how long that lasts.

-‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido (Progressive Alliance) continues to claim that PCW Television Champion FUBAR is not worthy to hold the title since he is ‘talent enhancement.’ Escondido, with help from ‘The American Screamer’ Howard Dean, continues his crusade next week on PCW Extreme Political TV to get a title shot. Other matches on the bill next week include:

Suave notes that PCW Extreme Election Night 2008 is less than a month away. He quickly runs down tonight’s show. The main event is the PCW Women’s Title match between the challenger ‘PCW Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin and Champion Opal Winfree with her flock, New Age Sensitive Guy and Soccer Mom. Also on the card, Al Franken of the Progressive Alliance vs. Norm Coleman of the American Patriots. Mr. McMann has a corporate announcement to make. Suave: “But first, it’s time for the aide de camp candidates of the American Patriots and Progressive Alliance to sit down with Bubba Jackson.

BIDEN-PALIN INTERVIEW FOR PCW CEO
Joe Biden plays up his vast years of experience. Sarah Palin winks incessantly at Bubba. Biden tells Bubba that John McCain says he’s a ‘maverick’ but in actuality, he hasn’t been a maverick about the things that matter. Bubba: “What about the whole torture issue?” Biden: “Okay…except for the torture issue, McCain hasn’t been a maverick about the things that matter. Bubba: “Um…what about the pork and earmark abuses? Biden: “All right. Except for torture and the pork and earmark abuse issue, McCain hasn’t been a mav-” Bubba: “What about McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform?” Biden: “Okay. With the exception of torture, pork and earmark abuse, and McCain-Feingold, McCain hasn’t been a maverick.” Bubba: “Illegal immigration when he took on his own party?” Biden sighs. Biden: “Fine. Excepting torture, pork and earmark abuse, McCain-Feingold, and the illegal immigration issue, when has John McCain been a maverick about things that really matter?” Bubba: “He stuck up for the surge when it was politically damaging to do so.” Biden sighs again. Bubba turns to Sarah Palin for her response.

Palin: “By golly, I’d have to agree with Joe Biden. John McCain hasn’t been the maverick on issues that really matter to good ol’ Joe Six-Pack.” She winks at Bubba again. Suave: “What? She agreed with Joe Biden?” Bubba looks at her quizzically and continues. He asks her about the Katie Couric interview. Palin: “Boy, I really screwed that one up didn’t I? I sure looked clueless as hell.” Bubba follows up with a question about what newspapers she reads. Palin: “Newspapers? Darn if I know which one I read. I swear I'm like a box of rocks sometimes.” Bubba again gives her a strange look and asks her about Supreme Court cases. Palin: “Supreme Court cases? Isn’t that something you get a one of those fancy stores that Joe Six-Pack can’t afford to go into.” Palin winks again at Bubba and adds that Joe Six-Pack should support Barack Obama. Suave: “All right! Something isn’t right here.” Palin goes on and on about why Obama is better than McCain when a scream off stage is heard. Suave: “What the-” Out of nowhere, a woman leaps at and tackles Palin. Suave: “I KNEW IT! THAT WASN’T REALLY SARAH PALIN! THAT’S TINA FEY FROM SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE!” Palin and Fey roll around on the ground. Suave: “CAT-FIGHT! CAT-FIGHT!” Palin gets up and grabs her hockey stick. She takes a wild swing at Fey. Fey ducks and then the SNL star turns and runs for it.

MATCH #1 NORM COLEMAN (American Patriots) vs. AL FRANKEN (Progressive Alliance)
Suave notes that Franken is the rookie here going up against an experience veteran in Coleman. Arianna Huffington is out hanging around Franken’s corner. She distracts Coleman and Franken takes advantage. Franken shoulder blocks him down and then chokes Coleman with his robe. Franken sets Coleman in the corner and then chokes him out with his boot. Whip off the ropes and Franken hits a leg whip. Huffington slides a chair in. Chairshot by Franken and then an arm bar. Knee by Coleman followed by a snap mare and back to the arm. Coleman finally escapes and slides out of the ring.

John McCain, leader of the American Patriots, now ringside and confers with Coleman. Back in the ring, he runs right into a clothesline. Franken follows with a dropkick. Kicks to the leg. Kicks to the back. Snap mare. Another kick to the back. Franken covers for 2. McCain in to break the count. Chairshot by McCain changes the momentum. Huffington on the ring apron and screaming at McCain. Coleman cranks on Franken’s knee and works into the reverse Indian deathlock. Barack Obama now down at the ring. Coleman rolls the Indian deathlock into a pinning combo. Obama in and pulls Coleman off. Franken to his feet. Shoulder ram by Coleman. Chops, rights, and uppercuts. Coleman rocks Franken. Wristlock and a twisting takedown. Coleman wrenches the wrist backwards and then stomps on the elbow. Coleman rolls into a cross arm breaker for one. Franken kicks his way out.

The crowd chants ‘PCW.’ Rights to Coleman. Cross face shots. Body kick by Coleman and back to the wristlock. Coleman adjusts to a hammerlock and works the other arm. Franken rolled into a pinning position for 2. Again, Obama breaks the count. Franken to his feet into a shoulder block by Coleman. Suplex try by Coleman countered by Franken. Coleman thrown out of the ring. Franken to the apron. Flying elbow drop from the ring. Suave: “HOLY CRAP!” Arianna Huffington sets a table up and Obama puts Coleman on it. McCain runs around the ring. Arianna latches on to him and holds on for dear life. Franken to the top. Sarah Palin hits the ring again with her hockey stick and whacks Franken in the back. Franken falls and hits hard on the floor. Joe Biden now to the ring. Obama and McCain get into it. Biden climbs up to the top rope. Palin starts towards him but Arianna gets in between her and Biden. Biden leaps and puts Coleman through the table. Suave: “HOLY CRAP!” Crowd: “PCW…PCW!” Biden rolls Coleman back into the ring. Then he rolls Franken back into the ring. Arianna and Palin rolls around on the ring canvas. Suave: “CAT-FIGHT! CAT-FIGHT!” Franken crawls over and covers Coleman. 1…2…3.

WINNER: AL FRANKEN (Progressive Alliance)

Suave: “WOW! Didn’t expect that. Al Franken proved to be a much tougher opponent than I originally thought he’d be. So far, not a good night for the American Patriots.

McCain looks extremely agitated at losing the match. He stalks to the back with Palin a step behind him.

The Black Swamp Pirates, fresh from their impromptu gig at Barbra Streisand’s Beverly Hills fundraiser for Barack Obama, come out to play a new song. Before they can start though, Barbra Streisand stomps out to the ring. She’s pissed off that DeWayne Cantrell ruined her fundraiser. She’s equally as pissed off that the Pirates dared to play country music at the event as well. Streisand: “NO ONE @#$##$# DOES THAT TO ME! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I’M BARBRA @#$#ING STREISAND! HOW DARE YOU PLAY YOUR LOW BROW HICK SONGS AT MY EVENT! I’M A STAR! YOU’RE A NOBODY!” Streisand demands to know where Cantrell is. Junior Jackson, lead singer of the Black Swamp Pirates, tells her he’s not here. Striesand wants to know where the @#$# is he? Junior points to a video screen.

MATCH #2 DeWAYNE CANTRELL vs. AIG EXECUTIVES
It was disclosed less than a week after the federal government offered an $85 billion bailout to insurance giant AIG that the company held a week-long retreat for its executives at the luxury St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach, Calif. In running up a tab of $440,000, the executives spent $200,000 for rooms, $150,000 for meals and $23,000 for the spa.

The executives relax in their spa. Cantrell bursts in with his steel-folding chair. Executives: “AAAAAARRRGHHHHHH!” *CLANG* Down goes one executive. *CLANG* Down goes another. *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* *CLANG* The referee runs in and stops the bout.

WINNER BY TKO: DeWAYNE CANTRELL

Streisand isn’t impressed and demands an apology from the Black Swamp Pirates. Junior refuses. Streisand again loudly demands an apology. Junior again refuses. Streisand screeches at him. Junior flips her off. Streisand: “THAT’S IT!” Suddenly, Arianna Huffington, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann and the Angry Left Wing Bloggers (Daily Kos, Paul Krugman, Eric Alterman, and Media Matters) run in and attack the Black Swamp Pirates. Suave: “OH, COME ON!” Daily Kos, Krugman, Alterman, and Media Matters stomp away at the five members of the band. Suave: “THAT’S ENOUGH! WAIT! HERE COMES AVERAGE JOE AND THE AMERICAN TRUCKER!”

‘The Real Joe Six-Pack’ Average Joe and American Trucker wade in but they, too, get overwhelmed by the Angry Left Wing Bloggers. They’re beaten down. Olbermann tells the Pirates, Average Joe, and American Trucker that they’re the ‘WORST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD!” The crowd boos.

Male voice: “Olbermann, you definitely need to take your medication.” The crowd cheers. Suave: “IT’S CNN’S LOU DOBBS!” Olbermann dares Dobbs to come down. Dobbs replies that Olbermann would like that seeing as he has the numbers advantage. Dobbs: “I have something else in mind.”

*Def Leppard’s ‘Rock, Rock Til You Drop blares over the loudspeakers*

The crowd rises and cheers again. Suave: “YES! YES! IT’S THE EXTREME EQUALIZER- WHISKEY…TANGO…FOXTROT!” Crowd: “What the !@#@, what the @#$#”

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot runs down and grabs Daily Kos. Grab neck. Lift. Chokeslam. Krugman. Grab neck. Lift. Chokeslam. Alterman. Grab neck. Lift. Chokeslam. Media Matters. Grab neck. Lift. Chokeslam. Arianna runs for the hills leaving Olbermann. He tries to beg off but…grab neck. Lift. Chokeslam. Crowd: “PCW…PCW!” Suave: “WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT CLEANS HOUSE!” Dobbs holds up Average Joe and American Truckers arms.

Suave: “This just in, two more matches have been signed for PCW Extreme Election Night 2008- a North Carolina battle between Elizabeth Dole of the American Patriots vs. Kay Hagan of the Progressive Alliance.” Suave notes Dole v. Hagan should be a barn burner. Suave: “A New Hampshire brawl between the American Patriots John Sununu and Jeanne Shaheen of the Progressive Alliance? An intergender match?” Suave speculates on that and then ‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ Mr. McMann comes out. Suave: “Oh great.”

‘Sports Entertainment Genius’ MR. McMANN’S CORPORATION SEGMENT
The crowd boos as Mr. McMann, Quadruple R, Kathryn Randall Collins discuss their new ‘acquisition.’ McMann admits that his corporation needed some extra firepower, extra muscle in order to achieve their goals. But in order to that, McMann said that he needed more capital. McMann: “So, without any ado, I’d like to introduce my business partner- Gordon Guyko.” Gordon Guyko, hair slicked back, 80’s Amani suit, walks to the ring. Guyko takes the mic and proclaims to the PCW crowd that ‘greed is good. It’s really, really good.” More boos.

McMann then introduces the new members of his corporation- Big Oil and Kirk Walstreit. McMann: “It cost me a lot of money to bring these two aboard…of course, not nearly as much as it would have if it weren’t for the Wall Street crisis and the plummeting price of oil.” McMann laughs; Big Oil and Walsteit wince. McMann claims he now has the firepower to achieve his goal- the complete corporate takeover of PCW.

McMann then announces his first act- changing the upcoming match between PCW Women’s champion ‘Empress Queen of All Media’ Opal Winfree and ‘PCW Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin by substituting Kathryn Randall Collins for Martin. McMann notes that all it took was a sizable donation to PCW CEO George W’s retirement fund to make the switch. Suave: “This is total bull@#$#!”

MATCH #3 PCW WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH- ‘Empress Queen of All Media’ OPAL WINFREE © w/Opal’s Flock- New Age Sensitive Guy and Soccer Mom (Progressive Alliance) vs. KATHRYN RANDALL COLLINS aka…KRC (McMann Corporation)
Suave: “This is so not right!” The bell rings. Winfree and Collins meet in the middle. There’s a commotion. Suave: “There’s something going on…IT’S PCW EXTREME PIZZA DELIVERY GIRL TESSA MARTIN!” Tessa slams her oversized pizza box, complete with metal road sign inside, into Big Oil’s knee. The knee buckles. Daisy whacks him in the face with a Singapore cane. Suave: “HOLY CRAP!” Quadruple R pushes Tessa down. Daisy turns and repeatedly whacks him with the Singapore cane, sending Quadruple R running for the locker room. Tequila Sheila knocks out Mr. McMann with her blender. Tessa kicks Kirk Walstreit in the balls. Daisy takes out Walstreit with a Daisy Cutter-Powerbomb. Tessa knocks out Guyko with the pizza box. KRC leans over the top rope and tries to grab at Daisy. Opal sneaks up from behind and rolls KRC up. 1…2…3.

Suave: “Well, there’s a little poetic justice. WHOA!” Daisy Cutter-Bomb delivers a devastating Daisy Cutter-Powerbomb to KRC as an exclamation point. Suave runs down the card for PCW Extreme Election Night 2008 in less than a month:

These brothers & sisters have accompanied me since my first baby steps in black consciousness, they were my reward for good behaviour in Grade 1. & so far I have never seen them live on stage. This will be changed soon...

Arrested Development in the Motherland

I hope they won't arrive with the Oprah mentality ie stating to feel deep inside that this is the place of their origin. Cos, guys, come on, most of us Diasporans especially those with a history of deportation/slavery are from the West Coast, no royal Zulu heritage but Naija past. Get over yourself!
[Btw Oprah: The fired principal of her girls school/Leadership Academy is currently suing Winfrey for some 250,000 Euro due to defamation. Read up here where you also find links to some of the other controversies surrounding the school that opened last year January.]

Mutabaruka - an Urban Voice in Durban, Cape Town & Jozi

Another teaser, Mutabaruka, whom I featured as a Plant-Warrior on this blog before, will be dubbing the Urban Voices International Poetry Festival over here! Hope to catch his performance in Durban on Saturday 18 October but if not, I am sure I will hook up with this brother some other time - certain pathes are just supposed to cross, folks!
