Man Vs Machine! Jag vet! Om ni åker med en Transfer taxi så säg till att ge grabbarna en kram.. de behöver det! Eftersom de inte har så många bilar så ska jag bifoga en bild på en av deras bilar.

But I had never actually tried - so today, it was time. I am a little coward, so I tested with skräpull first - it's short fibres, clips and other debris from finullen that I have carded a week.

How was it out after a game in the washing machine at 30 degrees and with quite ordinary kulörtvättmedel, no ylletvättmedel then. I used tvättpåse.

Machining is an activity that involves the use of power-driven machine tools to drill, shape or manufacture metal products. Machine shops conduct the machining of metal parts on a job or order basis. Generally, the services provided machine shops are low volume and involve the use of machine tools such as lathes (tools that perform cutting, sanding, knurling, drilling or metal spinning); milling machines (that shape metals and other materials); and drill presses (a drill mounted to a workbench). Machining services are utilized in the manufacture of most metal goods. The services offered by machine shops include surface grinding, chrome plating, heat treating, laser polishing, milling, boring and turning. Machine shops also inspect products for wear, corrosion, erosion, stress and other flaws.

...Tast'em and see. Does anyone remember that jingle?

I have wanted to write this post for awhile, but the problem was I couldn't keep any summer fruit around long enough to take a picture. I LOVE MY SUMMER FRUIT!!

But really, if you have trouble picking out fruit then I would like to help. After all this is part of my election campaign "Eat More Fruit!".

Here is a picture of my favorite fruit - The Nectarine!!!

(Sorry, I am not the best photographer in the world. Note to self - Work on that!)

This is the white nectarine so the skin is just a little lighter, at times, but what you want is a fruit that is heavy for it's size, color at the stem, and you want them to look the opposite of your skin: very dark and with tons of sun spots. This can not be replicated by machines and coloring so you know they were on a tree getting nice and sweet.

If you love summer fruit, get it now before it's gone.

*****ACT NOW!!! You only have a limited amount of time before they are gone. And if you call within the next thirtly minutes, I will throw in a good dose of Vitamins. Call 1-888-YUMMMY!******

Have a "Fruity" Day! (Hey, am I what I eat?)

Just in time for their performance at the Democratic National Convention, Socialite Correspondant M

Just in time for their performance at the Democratic National Convention, Socialite Correspondant Matt Szewczyk brings Kirksville some insight into Rage Against the Machine's Lollapalooza politics.

After a bone-crushing performance, concert goers were left wondering; did the California-native, revolutionary-rockers, Rage Against the Machine, endorse a Presidential candidate at this year’s Lollapalooza festival?

The three day music event swarmed with rumors that the presumptive Democratic nominee would introduce one of the headlining acts – Wilco, Kanye West or RATM – but in-front of a howling sold-out crowd, over thundering drums and rolling guitars, RATM lead singer Zack de la Rocha’s threat to overthrow a hypothetical Obama administration sounded more like a perilous warning than a ringing endorsement.

The apocalyptic outburst which Rocha delivered on Saturday began with a condemnation of the Bush administration, insinuating that a concocted fear of “some mysterious half-black force” had been held over the heads of Americans for the last eight years, while the United States itself became a terrorist force upon the world.

Rocha widened his criticism, clarifying that he was not “Just talking about the Bush administration” but “everyone who was supposed…to be our voice in congress. They turned their backs on the soldiers and they went right behind Bush…and knocked this country into another war.”

Rocha then spoke with an air of skepticism, of the future, and of Senator Obama’s commitment to a with-drawl of military forces from the Middle East.

“We know brother Obama” Rocha said. “But I’ll tell you what, if he comes to power come November and he doesn’t start pulling troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq, I know a lot of people are gonna stand up and burn down every office of every senator who doesn’t do his job.”

Rocha’s skepticism is symptomatic of the damage done to Obama’s credibility over the last few months. Previously touted as a strong anti-war candidate, perception of the candidate has nose-dived, from a glowing young-blooded breath of fresh-air to a business-as-usual-say-what-you-want-to-hear politician. Obama has received criticism even from his progressive-community-base, and not because of terrorist fist-jabs or Islamic middle-names or even the Reverend Wright fiasco.

Rather, the slide started when Obama was quick to change his policy of unconditionally talking with Iran, after President Bush insinuated that such diplomacy equaled appeasement. It continued with the Senator’s failure to filibuster a FISA bill granting telephone companies immunity, a promise he made over a year ago. Now progressives are wondering if “conditions on the ground” might really translate to mean an “opportunity to renege on election-time promises.” Only time will tell.

What is certain, however, is that the trillions of dollars spent on U.S. operations in the Middle East could have been better used at home; sending hundreds of thousands of adolescents to college, maintaining public infrastructure, researching renewable energy or providing affordable health-care for the millions who are uninsured. These items make up the long list of solutions American voters are seeking from a Presidential candidate. Ending the unpopular, expensive and unnecessary foreign policy in the Middle East should be the first step on America’s road to recovery.

The PC, which was reportedly sold for £35 on eBay, had sensitive information on the hard drive.

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and its subsidiary, Natwest, have confirmed their customers' details were involved.

RBS says an archiving firm told it the PC had apparently been "inappropriately sold on via a third party".

It said historical information relating to credit card applications for their bank and others had been on the machine.

The information is said to include account details and in some cases customers' signatures, mobile phone numbers and mothers' maiden names.

RBS and Natwest - two of the three businesses involved - said they are taking the issue very seriously and are working to resolve it "as a matter of urgency".

A spokeswoman for data processing company Mail Source, which is part of the archiving firm Graphic Data, said it was investigating how the computer equipment had been removed from a secure location.

It is thought the problem came to light when Andrew Chapman, an IT manager from Oxford, bought the computer, noticed the data and raised the alarm.

The Daily Mail said the computer, containing a million bank customers' personal data, had been sold for £35.

A spokesman for eBay said they were currently looking into what had happened.

"Clearly such details should never have been included in the hard drive of the computer offered for sale on eBay. We fully expect Mr Chapman to hand it back to Graphic Data as soon as possible.
Banks have an obligation under the Data Protection Act to keep all personal information secure.

Last year the Financial Services Authority fined the Nationwide Building Society £980,000 for a security breach, after a laptop containing customer data was stolen from an employee's home.

What is the use of designating some formations of opinion as rational, while others (perhaps leading to the same results) are stigmatized as rules of thumb, or of authority, or as mere guesses? When we reason we set out from an assumed representation of a state of things. This we call our "premiss"; and working upon this, we produce another representation which professes to refer to the same state of things; and this we call our "conclusion". But so we do when we go irreflectively by a rule of thumb, as when we apply a rule of arithmetic the reason of which we have never been taught. The irrationality here consists in our following a fixed method, of the correctness of which the … method [itself] affords no assurance; so that if it does not happen to be right in its application to the case in hand, we go hopelessly astray. In genuine reasoning, we are not wedded to our method. We deliberately approve it, but we stand ever ready and disposed to reexamine it and to improve upon it, and to criticize our criticism of it, without cessation. Thus the utility of the word "reasoning" lies in its helping us to discriminate between the self-critical and uncritical formations of representations. If a machine works according to a fixed principle involved in the plan of it, it may be a useful aid in reasoning; but unless it is so contrived that, were there any defect in it, it would improve itself in that respect, then although it could correctly work out every possible conclusion from premisses, the machine itself would afford no assurance that its conclusion would be correct. Such assurance could only come from our critical examination of it. Consequently, it would not be, strictly speaking, a reasoning machine.

So I have had two go karts and one golf cart in the last 8 years and basically I have learned that it was all a very bad idea. But hey that's life right? So this is what I have learned

Don't chase after a run away go kart with rubber boots; you will never be able to catch it

No matter how strong your neighbor's fence looks, its not that strong; it will not stop a run away go kart

Don't try to drive a three wheel golf cart off road, and especially don't drive it into a swamp...on purpose. It will get stuck...and you will crack the entire cast iron steering shaft, then your pretty much screwed.

If you don't happen to get your self killed today there's always tomorrow

If someone tells you that the go kart can't be broken, tell them to wait a minute.

A go kart that can't steer is not a good thing

Off roading is for off road go karts; like the ones with shocks

Don't share the brake and gas with a friend, you will end up running up a tree

Just because you can drive a go kart doesn't mean you can drive a car

Burning out is an art that is hard to master and lethal if you fail

Don't put ATV tires on the go-kart, you will end up cracking the wheel hub when you run up a tree

Don't stand on the go kart after riding, you will fall and place your hand on the muffler as you fall. Chaud! is French for 'Dam! That shits hot'.

Work, find, or steal money because this machine is going to break all the time on you.

Note: Three wheel golf carts flip really easily

The ratio between working or fixing the go kart to actually driving is like 4:1. That is for hours working.

Once you realize its a pain in the ass to keep this thing around, good luck selling it. Apparently it seems like everyone is a lot smarter than you were when you bought it.

And if your really lucky you will live long enough to actually learn these lessons without killing your self or your friend

Make sure you do all the stuff that seems like a bad idea at the moment; they make great stories for your friends

Walk into any sporting goods store today and you’ll there’s a wealth of options when it comes

Walk into any sporting goods store today and you’ll there’s a wealth of options when it comes to exercise bicycles, and a wide range of price and features as well. While you want to invest wisely in this type of equipment you also want to be sure that you’re getting your money’s worth and aren’t paying for things you don’t need or just plain old overpaying for even a basic model. So what should you look for when it comes to exercise bicycles and how can you make your decision?

First keep in mind that there are recumbent bikes and upright exercise bicycles; the recumbent mean that you lean back in the seat of the bike and these usually even have a back that you can rest against. Your legs are in front of you while you pedal. Upright exercise bicycles are taller and the pedals are below your body; you typically lean forward on the handles while you pedal, or sit upright. Men should be especially careful about using a standard upright bike because the narrow seat puts a lot of pressure on the prostate gland.

The recumbent bikes are much easier on the back while the upright models actually typically give you a better workout in your legs. If you’re just starting out or are still very overweight, or have any type of back problems, you may want to opt for something by way of one of these recumbent exercise bicycles so that you’re not putting undue stress on your legs or back.

Both of the upright and recumbent bicycles have one thing in common. They are considered low impact devices. Unlike treadmills machines the exercise bicycles produces a smooth motion without the jarring, joint damaging action of walking or running. For someone with any type of joint or back problem this low impact motions will mean the difference between using the exercise machine and not using it. What good is any exercise machine if you will not use it.

Other features and options that you’re going to find with most exercise bicycles have to do with the level of resistance you can program and how smoothly the operation is. Many of the better or more expensive models of bikes will allow you to program in various levels of resistance, whereas less expensive models don’t have so many options.

It is usually better to have more options than less when it comes to resistance as many people are surprised by how much of a workout exercise bicycles actually are. Some may also have programs, meaning the bike will automatically adjust resistance while you work according to preset programming. This is great for those looking for a challenge when it comes to biking, as you don’t need to worry about making adjustments while you pedal.

When you’re shopping for exercise bicycles, be sure to try out a few models and see which feel smooth while you pedal. Most are made up of a few simple wheels and gears and aren’t that complicated when it comes to their design and engineering. Unfortunately this simplicity can mean that the gears just don’t mesh well and the bike becomes uncomfortable when used. So think of your budget, your level of fitness right now, and try out a few different exercise bicycles and you’re sure to make the right choice.
