In 2004 y. the David wrote me that document about me was stolen he found and returned it to it’s place. Who could steal that document and who ignores it’s acting during 3 years?
I am the daughter of the man,whose face is identical to Joann Paul II. In Italy he is known as Tata Giovanni (Father Giovanni). He lived in Rome and worked in the USA.My name is Anna Kristina Aleksandra.

In Lithuania for my financing and living my own father gave 10% shares of AO LUKOIL company to the oil company AB MAZEIKU NAFTA.

For my financing in Lithuania responsible A.Brazauskas, B.Lubys (as everybody know Mr. Lubys is a friend of Mr. Nazarbajev), G.Chapanidze, V.Shkil. Mr. G.Chapanidze is in jail since 1996-1997. I was not financed at all. And didn,t ask nobody to sale or to present my finances or shares to anybody. I know that there are most of assets, which didn’t get in hands of those who robbed me.

May be Mr. Alekperov knows what does it mean? In 19.8.1995 in Omsk died someone Ivan (Jan,Giovanni, Ioann) Lickevich. Do you know what does Lickevich means in polish? This is translated as calculate. Who and whom was blackmailed? 22.12.2006 I and my son was unblocked in Lithuania where we was blocked,arrested and had real fascism and we run out from Lithuania as quickly as we can.

Being in Poland I argued with Oleg Freezingman, we had different priciples of honesty. After last arguing I and my family went to Swietoszow, and Oleg Freezingman went to work to Jawor(Stoler). So, which Oleg was told as about rat? I had Oleg Ore as my buddy. There is ore deposit near yekaterinburg named Berezowsky. Isn’t it that ore deposit is running in England? Why do I have unique leg? May be it is passport which I can not loose and which can not be stolen? What can I exactly get using that passport? King’s gold? Gold from Berezowsky ore deposit? What else?

When I was already adopted son in adopting family was born, I still remembered my own name. And that’s why I decided to give name Anton to “little brother” when I was asked how I wished to name him. Even when guests arrived boy was called Anton by everyone. Only when it was time to register chosen name, he was written as Sergej. Why, how do you think? Just because my own grandfather and own grandmother, my own father explained me that I am Natasha now. That’s why boy better to be Serezha. After 10 years passed I was put to hospital of Kurgan for a medical operation. I had a friend in that hospital, a girl - Anna Antonova. Her mother Silvija V Italjevna, she wore a wig and smoke men’s cigarettes. For 70th and Soviet Union it was so not ordinary for a woman to have wig and smoke, so I remembered. Now please, who knows what did it meant and means now?

Your administrator was two heads away from you - I didn’t know this was your administrator, and I have short talk with your administrator. Let’s fyck. “What is it? Asking who is that administrator, I hear that strange transmitting answered me that I am an idiot, and never guess who is administrator, who is Irka and her friend. Who are those freaks who uses such lexicon, methods, and technics? If this is technics, how can I get rid of that installed into me? In other words, how to remove technics which fascists in Lithuania pushed into me and used by some freaks ? I hear ” You need radio? No, rooms.Ok.”What does it mean?
Not enough that I was cut in Vilnius with blade, I was abused “pig jewish”, the only health leg was disfigured, poisoned, beaten, they tried to make me sunk in winter bogs, and generously hated. With an exact of clocks, they disfiguring leg forced me to learn walking in 45,46,49 and 51 years, what I did like a maniac.I need a car, like oxygen, but had no money. So who is that freaking fascist, and what a espionage device is that, who was mounted in me in old Jewish town Vilnius? Who is that freak?

How it is connected with the facts, that son from adopting family handled with part of my own mother’s Dora frozen assets, and a meter “Crossborder of Rome Republic” was switched on for him?
How it is connected with the fact that Larisa Shamne Forelandovskaya after breaking into my own 20 flat in Wolsk (Free’sk) found there switched on meter and road traffic police stick? Who knows what does it mean?

Met het huidige conflict op de Kaukausus is het makkelijk om te denken in termen als "het kleine, arme Georgië tegen het imperialistische, machtige Rusland". Maar, zoals ik in een vorig bericht hierover reeds zei, is de waarheid vaak veel anders dan men wilt laten blijken. Saakashvili en zijn regering hebben, tot op het moment van de aanval zelf, constant ontkent dat hij militaire plannen had voor Zuid-Ossetië of aendere autonome republieken. Halen we er bv de International Herald Tribune van 5 augustus 2008 maar bij (een artikel dat ook melding maakt van het belang van Georgië voor bv pijpleidingen die gas uit Turkmenistan of olie moeten vervoeren om zo Rusland te vermijden):

AVNEVI, Georgia: Georgia on Tuesday denied preparing for war in its breakaway South Ossetia region following deadly weekend clashes that have raised fears of a new war in the Caucasus.

Russia said it would not be indifferent if there was further violence on its border, escalating a war of words in a region where Moscow and the West are vying for influence over vital energy transit routes.

"If events develop according to the worst-case violence scenario, Russia will not allow itself to remain indifferent, considering that Russian citizens live in South Ossetia, particularly in the conflict zone," Interfax news agency quoted Russian special ambassador Yuri Popov as saying.

But Georgia rejected accusations of indiscriminate shelling of Ossetian-held areas over the weekend, and denied it was preparing for conflict.

"We are not mobilising forces, we are not getting ready for war," deputy Interior Minister Ekaterine Zguladze told Reuters in the Georgian-held village of Avnevi in South Ossetia.

Saakashvili kwam vorige keer trouwens in het nieuws toen er meldingen waren dat hij hard optrad tegen de oppositie en toen er twijfels waren bij de overwinning van zijn partij bij de vorige verkiezingen. Ook had hij zijn beloftes over een vrijer en welvarender Georgië niet waargemaakt.

TBILISI: President Mikheil Saakashvili claimed victory on Thursday in Georgia's parliamentary election, which European officials generally welcomed despite lingering concerns about the fairness of the ballot.

Saakashvili said voting was free and fair but the opposition said the authorities had rigged Wednesday's vote and vowed to challenge it by calling street protests.

The pro-Western president needs a clean election to persuade sceptical European states that it is worth defying Russian objections and make Georgia, a key transit route for oil and gas supplies from the Caspian Sea to Europe, a NATO member.

Waar Saakashvili wel voor zorgde, was het verwijderen van Georgië uit de Russische invloedssfeer en het aanschurken bij de NAVO. Wat die laatste uiteraard van pas kwam aangezien zij nog steeds de strategie volgen die inhoudt dat Rusland moet omsingeld worden met NAVO-basissen. In de hoofden van het Pentagon is de Koude Oorlog immers nooit gedaan geweest. Ze beseffen daar ook maar al te goed het potentieel dat Rusland heeft om terug een grote speler te worden op het wereldtoneel, om nog maar te zwijgen over het demografische en economische groeipotentieel dat Rusland zeker heeft.

En nu we toch bezig zijn om oude krantenberichten boven te halen... De gebeurtenissen die zich nu afspelen zetten sommige dingen opeens wel in een heel ander licht:

Georgië wil het aantal militairen in zijn leger opdrijven van 32.000 tot 37.000 manschappen. Dat heeft de vicevoorzitter van de commissie Defensie en Veiligheid van het Georgische parlement vandaag laten weten.

Toetreding NAVO
De bedoeling achter die troepenversterking (met 15 procent) is duidelijk. Het onderstreept de ambitie van Georgië om tot de NAVO toe te treden, iets wat Rusland liever niet ziet gebeuren.

Anderzijds zijn er de oplopende spanningen met Moskou omtrent Abchazië en Zuid-Ossetië, twee pro-Russische separatistische regio's op Georgisch grondgebied. Tbilisi beschuldigt Moskou ervan Abchazië en Zuid-Ossetië te willen annexeren.

In de Noord-Ossetische hoofdstad Vladikavkas riepen vandaag ruim duizend mensen bij protesten de Georgische president Michail Saakasjvili op de spanningen niet verder op te drijven. "Saakasjvili - Speelbal van de VS", "Saakasjvili, je bent Bonaparte niet, blijf thuis! ", citeerden de media de spandoeken van de demonstranten.

De in de Verenigde Staten opgeleide en door Washington gesteunde Saakasjvili heeft zijn kiezers steeds weer gegarandeerd de kwestie rond de afvallige regio's Abchazië en Zuid-Ossetië op te lossen - indien nodig ook met militair geweld. De naar het lidmaatschap van de NAVO en de EU strevende president heeft zijn inspanningen uitgebreid, sinds Rusland in het voorjaar de contacten met de conflictgebieden heeft geïntensiveerd.

Media berichtten de afgelopen dagen over militaire oefeningen, troepenverschuivingen en munitietransporten langs beide kanten. De Russische politicoloog Pavel Felgenhauer stelde vast dat er intussen vele aanwijzingen zijn voor een beginnend militair conflict. "De komende weken worden kritiek: na de verbale en provocerende strijd kan dan een echte oorlog beginnen".

Ik ga hier zeker niet verkondigen dat Rusland de grote weldoener is en geen vlieg kwaad doet. Maar op dit moment, met de informatie die ik heb, zou ik toch besluiten dat Georgië in dit geval de agressor is. Waarschuwingen zijn er legio geweest en Saakashvili en zijn regering hebben ondertussen getoond dat leugens en een agressieve houding tegenover alle oppositie hen zeker niet vreemd zijn.

Tenslotte nog een interessante lijst die weergeeft in welke mate ook de VSA betrokken zijn in dit conflict? Een nieuwe proxywar? In de VSA is het topnieuws momenteel echter het feit dat John Edwards heeft toegegeven dat hij een buitenechtelijke relatie had...

China, our enemy!

This is in response to a comment I received. Yes, China is our enemy, so is Russia. Probably more econimically than militarily. They are an organized society that can be reasoned and negotiated with. Providing we have the leadership that will negotiate with good sense. Islam on the other hand only cares about the destruction and collapse of the west. It has shown itself to be enemies of both China and Russia. Their leaders are as naive as ours and perhaps will wake up and see what it truly is. If not we must go the course on our own and protect ourselves from this radical Islamist cancer. The entire world must wake up and see Islam for what it is. The Olympics, the most important international sporting event is being threatened by this cancer. I donn't pass on China and Russia as being enemies, but they can be reasoned and negotiated with. Radical Islam can not.

Rami of +961 wrote a short post earlier this week on the incongruity of seeing Lebanon-specific ads while reading Haaretz online. As a Lebanese citizen, it must be odd to see ads for "Jobs in Lebanon" (not to mention "Single Lebanese Girls") while reading an Israeli paper - although I would argue that allowing Israelis and Arab state citizens to read one another's press has been one of the great regional benefits that the Internet has provided.

Until recently, the Daily Star's online ads were similarly incongruous: any article that mentioned Israel would be accompanied by ads to visit Israel or buy Israeli goods, which was a bit jarring when the article was about cluster bombs or new settlements. Someone must have noticed however (maybe the editors, but more likely Google, since I bet those ads didn't get many click-throughs!), since more recently the ads have stuck to safer topics like "Sexy Lebanese Girls" (its a theme with universal appeal, I guess) and "Fly to Lebanon cheap".

I understand that these crossovers happen because online ads target customers through keywords and IP addresses, but I was still unprepared for the dramatic shift that took place in the ads I saw on Facebook. One day, I was in Lebanon, seeing ads for a "regime" that promised a 5-10 kg loss and ads for March 14 and other political organizations.

The next day I was in Brooklyn, where suddenly I was being asked to expand my wardrobe by visiting israelmilitary.com, an Israeli army surplus store selling everything from t-shirts to dog tags:

I do like shopping online, but this won't be my new go-to site. Nor will I be spending much time on Jobshuk.com, a site that aims to "improve the financial situation of Israeli residents" by connecting Israelis in need of jobs with "Zionists worldwide". (Shuk is the Hebrew word for "market" - and yes, its a close cousin of "souk", the Arabic word.)

Why am I not a fan of Job Shuk? Because when it states that: "The alarming numbers of poverty, hunger, and unemployment in Israel are incongruous with the advanced, democratic, and technically advanced society which we are developing," it isn't referring to poverty, hunger, or unemployment among Palestinians.

Don't get me wrong - I love many things about New York internet, not least its speed. But when it comes to advertising, I would be happy to have my Beirut IP back. Especially since half the time it put me in Lithuania.

Die Jerusalem Post hat ein Editorial, Lebanon tipping point? (Trendwende im Libanon?), in dem ein Überblick über die sich verschlechternde Lage im Libanon gegeben wird. Ich dachte, Ich sollte einmal einen Überblick geben, wie Livni den Israelis die Resolution 1701 verkaufte, so wie auch Olmert den Israelis „verkaufte“, dass der Zweite Libanonkrieg ein Erfolg war.

Als Außenministerin Livni vor dem Kabinett in Israel sprach, kurz nachdem die Resolution verabschiedet wurde, formulierte sie ihre Begrüßung derselben mit folgenden Worten:

- „die Resolution ist gut für Israel und, wenn sie umsetzt wird,...“

- „Ich bin mir der Tatsache bewusst, dass nicht jede Resolution umgesetzt wird. Ich bin mir der Schwierigkeiten bewusst und trotz all dem sage ich mit völliger Zuversicht, dass die Resolution des Sicherheitsrats gut ist für Israel.“ TOTAL FEHLGESCHLAGEN

US, Turkey, Israel, Iran and the Real Evolving Crisis

This essay appeared September, 2007 in my other blog. It presents a possible strategy being used by the Coalition to maneuver their armies into Eastern Turkey, from where they will be in a position to confront Russian forces in Georgia. All this talk about invading Iran is merely saber-rattling designed to keep our right flank secure as we advance northward.

Iran's President Ahmadinejad announced yesterday that he has "proof" the United States will not be attacking his country. He doesn't refer to any intelligence sources, rather, he claims to have determined this mathematically. This is most likely Ahmadinejad's sense of humor, but in any case is entirely correct. The United States will not be attacking Iran and it's great to see their bluff being called by Iran's President. I still maintain that the immediate goal of the New World Order is to somehow secure the eastern section of Turkey, providing our troops with a corridor into the Republic of Georgia. Fighting continues between Turkish forces and the Kurdish PKK while the US considers the most appropriate time to intervene, possibly sending "Peace Keepers" into eastern Turkey. An interesting coincidence in this rising conflict is the debate concerning the Armenian Genocide which began here in Watertown, Massachusetts. Foxman ended up conceding that the deaths of almost two million Armenians close to one hundred years ago was "tantamount to genocide," yet the political fallout has a great deal to do with evolving relations with Turkey. At first, it seemed like a strange overreaction that the world's Jewish leadership would be concerned about the well-being of Jews living within Turkey. Were they REALLY afraid that by finally conceding to the word, "Genocide," that the Turks were going to be instituting pograms within their country and rounding-up Turkish Jews for imprisonment and extermination? Or were these statements perhaps aimed at something else? It is not a very big secret that Israel has for a long time supported the Kurdish separatists, sending money and weapons to the radical PKK. This wasn't much of an issue when the Kurds were fighting against Iraqi elements, and there was always this rumor that once the US began redrawing the borders of these Middle Eastern countries, that they might create a Palestinian state in Northern Iraq, to where the Israelis could finally ship the entire population of Palestinians. The Kurds have also been heavily involved in the heroin trade in this part of the world, and this was one more connection they had with Israel. But now the PKK has turned these weapons against the Turkish military. Israel's "concerns" about Jews living within Turkey may very well have more to do with their arming the PKK forces now fighting the Turkish Army than they do with any statements made by Abe Foxman about the appropriateness of the term "Genocide." This may be Israel's way of warning Turkey that they don't want any action taken against Turkish Jews in retaliation for the military adventurism of Israel in arming the PKK. An added bonus is that the "Genocide" debate is a convenient screen which can be used to cloud any future problems which may develop between Israel and Turkey. At this point, the gullible public will naturally assume that any conflict between these two countries will be the result of this little word game being played-out here in the United States.

It's very likely that Ahmadinejad is aware of this strategy to use Israel/PKK as a lever to pry open Eastern Turkey, but the US/Israeli PR Machine has managed to minimize any of his remarks by associating them with "Anti-Semitism." The idea that the US will be starting a war with Iran is just a smokescreen to divert public attention from their real plans. The coming year will reveal who is right, and I believe that the US will not attack Iran and that we will manage to move our forces into Turkey. We'll see.

Oy Bay Review of SFJFF's "Flipping Out"

Yoav Shamir’s latest documentary film sketches post-IDF Israelis travelers in India who experience severe psychotic episodes known as Flipping Out. These lost youngsters are brought back to sanity by an unlikely crew: a Chabad rabbi based in Kasol (who himself traveled in India in a drugged haze years prior), an ex-Mossad agent (likened by SFJFF Program Director Nancy Fishman to Santa Claus) hired by Israeli families to track down their children, and an aging Israeli hippie running a Bayit Cham (Warm House, the secular equivalent to Chabad, run by the Israeli government).

After receiving their discharge bonus, early 20something Israelis leave en masse to travel and blow off steam, seeking freedom from the structure and authority of the army. While Shamir accurately portrays the responsibility-free backpacking lifestyle that young Israelis embrace in India, part of the story is missing. Although the film opens with male soldiers destroying undisclosed property, setting a tone that all is not well back home, he only hints at what they are running from through limited flashbacks, contrasting the vibrant colors of the Indian landscape with black and white military footage. However, the very absence of sufficient background about the army is perhaps intentionally representative of the reluctance many Israelis have to discuss these experiences, and the glaring silence symbolizes the very reason for this escapism.

Another weakness in the film is the assumption that flipping out is caused by drugs. After the opening military footage, Shamir shows a group of Israelis taking huge bong and chillum hits as part of a normal morning routine in a picturesque Himalayan cloud forest. While drug abuse is certainly related to the onset of many psychiatric illnesses, automatically blaming these episodes on drugs seems to avoid holding the military accountable for its role. The question is never explicitly asked, why are these kids doing so much drugs? The testimony of 26 year old kibbutznik Eyal Goldstein, shot in eerie nighttime footage with echoes of a nearby all night trance beach party, demonstrates the tensions within the post-army drug-using traveler. He mentions feeling much better and happier in India rather than Israel, away from the pressures of domestic life, but also expresses fear around inheriting his mother's mental illness as a result of his own ecstasy use. Certainly the causes of flipping out are complex, but it is notable that while Shamir is unwilling to point an explicit finger at Tzahal for its effects on soldiers (let alone its victims on the ‘other side’), the Deputy Prime Minister readily agrees that it is the State of Israel’s responsibility to fund social service programs in India for “our boys and girls,” during an official state visit to the Goa Bayit Cham.

Further, Shamir seems to insinuate that turning to religion is some sort of extension of the flipping out, intimating that religiousness is just another form of psychosis. It is curious that multiple characters emerge from flipping out as ba’alei t’schuvah (literally: masters of the return, a term used to describe people who become ultra-religious, similar to born-again). There is very little coverage of the other services provided to all Jewish travelers, not just stoned Israelis, by Chabadnikim.

In focusing so sharply on this particular experience of Israelis in India, little room is left for the Indian perspective of Israelis. Shamir does not show that India is experiencing a vast profusion of Hebrew signage, locals learning the language, restaurants serving Israeli food (best falafel outside of Israel!), and Chabad, Beit Yehudi (Jewish House, the Bretslav Chasidim equivalent to Chabad), and Bayit Cham spreading across the country like chicken pox. Popular tourist areas are derisively called ‘Little Israel,’ and Israelis carry a reputation of being loud, stoned, unruly, and rude. One guest house owner comments on this reputation, but overall the Indian side is not represented. In one provocative scene, local village workers in Goa hired to dig ditches earnestly ask for Moti, a mentally troubled Israeli who hired them in a manic delusion. The relationship between privileged Israelis and impoverished Indians that depend on their tourism is a tenuous and multifarious one, but Shamir barely hints at it.

The experience of women is also largely ignored in the film, relegated mostly to the Chabad rebbetzin, Bayit Cham wife, and a friend of Moti who is insinuated to be invested in him solely out of sexual interest. A simple mention of statistics showing that more men serve in combat units, and more men than women flip out would have addressed my low-grade feminist outrage at the gender bias. Still, it is not the case that young women are any less motivated to travel—in fact, one woman explains to the Deputy Prime Minister of Israel that she is happier in India because she is away from the bombings, corruption, and tension of Israel.

Although multiple perspectives are excluded from the film, overall Flipping Out effectively conveys the struggles of a generation of Israelis through an even-paced, captivating series of character sketches. With more context and background, the film’s message would be even more compelling.

The biggest problem is that the audience knew when we were only half finished! I doubt any of you will want to use a chart like this now, but you can get some great ideas for sermon starters, put them in PowerPoint, and see if they will gel.

my dream

it felt like it took place in a building with ‘stadium’ like seating; maybe the building the ‘call jerusalem’ was in. it was also like seating at the un, with tables and names of countries; but the sense was that it was in israel, and more than likely jerusalem. i’m not sure but it seemed like president bush was at the front and center table. leaders sat at the tables; not just representatives. there was a cup in the middle of the first table and it was poured to about half full and sat there like that for quite some time. i had the impression that it was filled with wine and maybe assumed it was for communion (just maybe my automatic assumption when I see a single cup at a gathering). then suddenly it began to fill up....no hand; no container; it just began to fill up. another thing, it appeared to get darker as it filled; i don’t know if it changed like to blood or something black or just got denser as it filled. i did notice that when it finally began to fill; it filled quickly without interruption. when it was full to the brim, but not over flowing.......the screen went to black; blank (i need to mention that i was watching all this on a computer screen, like an internet feed; i wasn’t there), so when the screen went to black, the coverage stopped, in fact the whole internet connection quit and couldn’t be re-established. it was like there was a sudden explosion or a catastrophic failure or interruption in power; but no noise........just black/blank. i suddenly felt very agitated and tried to find out what happened........no internet anywhere; no news broadcasts....nothing! i couldn’t find out what happened. then i woke up. so since i almost never dream; or at least remember my dreams......is this prophetic or personal or pizza, or just a random dream? please pray for God's mercy on our nation; visit the call dc on august 16 and be part of repenting and crying out for our nation....... john e

La dupla de músicos jamaiquinos, Cecil Spence (Skelly) y Lascelle Bulgin (Wiss), vuelven al país a presentar su último disco "Stamina". Además de sus ya populares y legendarios temas.

Los dos nacieron en la extrema pobreza y fueron víctimas de la poliomielitis (enfermedad también conocida como parálisis infantil). Sus respectivos padres no tenían dinero para afrontar los gastos médicos y los internaron en un centro de rehabilitación, donde se hicieron amigos y del que fueron expulsados por cantar acerca de sus creencias religiosas. Vivieron durante varios años en la calle y en 1976 grabaron su primer disco "La misma canción".

En 1983 se separaron y cada uno por su cuenta le pidió al productor Doctor Dread, de la reconocida Ras Records, un disco solista. "La unión hace a la fuerza", les respondió, citando a Marcus Garvey. Desde ese momento, permanecen juntos. Hasta 1997 los Israel Vibrations eran trío conformado por: Albert " Apple" Craig, Cecil Spence (Skelly) y Lascelle Bulgin (Wiss). Pero "Apple" abandonó el grupo por "decisión propia" y dió comienzo a su carrera solista.

En el 2007 editan por el sello Mediacom, "Stamina", su último y más variado disco hasta el momento, todos los estilos del folklore jamaiquino están claramente expresados, desde el más moderno dancehall al antiguo ska. Con un sonido decididamente más comercial, pero con el buen gusto que los caracteriza. Grabado en Tuff Gong, cuenta con la participación de Sly Dunbar en batería; Errol "Flabba Holt" Carter en bajo; Tyronne Downie en teclado; Dwight Pinkney y Steve Golding en guitarras; y una sección de vientos con los maestros Dean Fraser; Dwight Richards y Nambo Robinson; reforzado con las percusiones de Uziah "Sticky" Thompson. Una Roots Radics de lujoso estudio. "El clásico dúo del reggae ha vuelto con este disco, el cual es bastante comercial, comparado con los discos que sacaban cuando eran tres. Aún así tiene algunos temas buenos. Volvieron a traer el ska en el tema “Little Children” el cual es muy buen tema. Ya no se escuchan tanto las voces de ellos haciendo coros, esa fusión ya es principalmente hecha por las coristas femeninas lo cual en momentos hace pensar que se está escuchando otro grupo, para los que ya están acostumbrados a escuchar a Skelly y a Wiss haciendo sus propios coros. “Stamina”, “Herb is the Healing”, “Lion in the Jungle” y “Run Away Girl” son algunos de los temas que figuran en el disco". Debka is often referred to as the unofficial Israeli intelligence web site. This happening at the start of the Olympics has an Israeli signature tune.
And given that an Israeli web site is publicising the Israeli involvement, it would seem like a 'no holds barred' confrontation. The Georgians, while clever must be no more than proxy pawns.
It will take cool heads to stop this flaring up.
Russia has such heavy influence in Syria (even a military base) and Lebanon, it is hard to understand the Israeli stance.
Isn't there too much arrogance here?
Only a self perception of Custers last stand can rationalize the killing of Russian troops.
Perhaps the Oil conflict means losing Europe to Russian oil pipelines.
Ofcourse Israel and the US are a dog and a tail.

IOA and settlers turn Muslim and Christian cemeteries into animal pens

The Israeli prosecution and fanatic Israeli settlers have insisted on Tuesday to desecrate sanctity of Muslim and Christian graveyards at the Barwa village in the 1948-occupeid Palestinian lands, and to turn them into animal stockades.

They alleged that there were no graves in the area, but the Aqsa foundation that caters for Muslim and Christian holy shrines in occupied Palestine affirmed that the area was full of graves of Muslims and Christians, presenting "definitive" documents and evidence confirming its claims.

Tens of the village's indigenous inhabitants who were displaced and coercively relocated by the Israeli occupation government in nearby villages, participated in sit-in in front of the Israeli Supreme Court that looks into the case, protesting the Israeli procedures.

Few months ago the Aqsa foundation succeeded in obtaining a temporary restraining order form the court, banning any excavation works and constructions on the graveyards' site.

"It is unfortunate that the Israeli prosecution insisted to turn those Muslim and Christian cemeteries into pens for cows although it contradicts all heavenly laws and international and local statutes", said Mohammed Suleiman, the foundation's lawyer, after he walked out of the court room.

But he highlighted that although the foundation presented clear evidence on the presence of the graves in the site supported by drawings of the burial grounds and names of the buried persons there, it doesn’t expect the court to be fair and just in the case, disclosing a number of previous situations in which the court was biased to the Israeli side.

"This is a very sensitive matter that insults human dignity and desecrates sanctity of the dead people, and we shouldn’t remain arms-folded vis-à-vis those heinous crimes", asserted priest Romanos Redwan Saks, one of the displaced inhabitants of the village as he participated in the sit-in.

Messianic Believers to face more Persecution?...(this is disturbing)

I've spent the last few hours trying to find this in English, but wasn't successful. If anyone runs across this in English, I would appreciate you posting the link. What disturbs me is actually two-fold; its the contents of the article from the few highlights I read from a poster at Charisma board (who reads Hebrew) and posted points from the article, and its also disturbing (to me as a Christian) that it was only published in the Hebrew language in the Hebrew equivalent of YNet News called Yediot Ahronot.

Why does that disturb me? Because it keeps all but Hebrew speaking Believers in Christ from knowing about this story. Was that a purposeful action on the editors of both news sources? I cannot say, but because of recent media coverage, in the last year, concerning the persecution of Jewish Messianic Believers inside Israel, it would not be surprising to know it was.

Below are the highlights posted at Charisma board this morning on this story:

News article on Y-net against messianic believers

The Israeli newspaper "Yediot Ahronot" published an article today ripping apart the messianic community.
A spy who posed as a "new believer" and was part of the "Tiferet Yeshua" congregation in Tel Aviv (Ari and Shira Sorkoram) was the writer of the article.

She volunteered as a "radical new believer" for almost every function and attended almost every meeting and also volunteered for various non-profits ran by believers.

She also volunteered intimately with Yakov Damkani, an Israeli believer who evangelizes on the streets of Isra.) el all over Israel.

She also volunteered at a prostitute outreach ministry in Tel Aviv ran by a messianic believer.
As well as messianic believers outreach to Holocaust survivors.

Since I read the article in Hebrew, and it is not published in English, I can give you the gist of the four page article in the main Israeli newspaper.

1.) Messianic Jews prey on the weak, the poor, and the helpless to gain their new followers.
2.) The pray in a "trance-like gibberish" (tongues).
3.) They blame Satan for all their problems and their former lives.
4.) They disguise themselves as Jews when they are really evangelical christians and get their support from evangelical christians.
5.) They punish themselves ( she wrote about "M" who was on a 30 day fast to pray for the youth of the nation).
6.) They go about to any limits to bring people to their newfound faith and are obsessed with this mission (we would call this the Great Commission).
7.) They give promises of family and relationships in order to bait people into the faith.
8.) Yakov Damkani illegally enters into IDF army bases to bring soldiers to the faith (at least this is what she claims).
9.) Baptism (immersion) is very important for them to "enter from the land of darkness to the land of light" as was in the Red Sea parting.
10.) She mocked how believers told their testimonies with tears and basically shared private life information about tens of messianic Jews.

What is most sad about this whole story is that she even told information about those who were closest to her and treated her like a precious sister, she basically dumped out their private conversations into a newspaper article mocking it. Not just any newspaper, a newspaper that is equivalent to the NY Times or FoxNews in Israel.

Please pray for the messianic Jewish community in Israel the coming week against the backlash for this article.

Pray for Thehiya Barak, the writer of the article who was a spy posing as a radical new believer.

The story of Chanukkah is timeless. We withstood more than just the physical threat of being killed by the Greek; we withstood educational genocide as Jews, which is the etymological root of the word "Chanukkah:" Chinuch - education. Jewish education kept us from assimilation and losing our Jewishness. The missionaries in Israel intend to do exactly that: They try to render us religiously extinct. After genociding, stereotyping, beating, persecuting, slaughtering, dehumanizing and demonizing Jews for centuries, Christians have followed us into the safe haven of Israel and now try to convert us there. Christians just can't live with themselves knowing that there are still Jews out there, Jews who reject Jesus. And they need to make us Christians. After all these millions of Jews that Christians have killed for not being Christian, they follow us into our own country to bring Christianity's message. But there are complex, subconcious messages that flow into this notion. This active ferreting for Jews to convert to Christianity has blatant undertones: "Yes, we are guilty for killing so many of you. But now we come with a final redemption for you: You can be Christian now. You can still save your soul. Because the Jews that we killed indeed weren't Christian. And now we can undo history and be friends- if you let us enhance you. If you finally believe in Jesus. Because that still needs to be done so you don't go to hell." Think about it: My forefathers were persecuted for being not Christian, but Jews. Now, the offspring of these killers come after me for being not Christian, but Jewish, because they still believe that there is a better alternative to being Jewish. Being Jewish is still a status that has to be altered. And that is a persecution, too. Instead of learning from history what national and religious fanatism can do, they put part of the blame on us for what happened to us because we indeed were Jewish: "Yes, we killed you for being Jewish. But that's over. You still are Jewish, however. Which you don't have to be. You can stop the Jewish thing and finally become a Christian." As if they still had an open account with us that needs to be settled by our giing up. The "Jewish Question" still exists to the Christians but they want to solve it otherwise this time. But the innate concept of Jews as demonized entities is still the same.

Disarming and Converting Israelis

Recently, the media has reported that Gush Katif activists have warned that organizations desiring to help expelled former residents of Gush Katif and northern Samaria may have an ulterior, missionary motive. Nothing could be more true.

The history of modern proselytizing in Eretz Israel started with a major aliyah in the early 19th century. Rabbi Yisroel of Shklov was one of the closest disciples of the Vilna Gaon. In 1810, he led a delegation of students and followers of the Gaon, together with their families, to the Holy Land. It was during this period that Christian missionaries made their first major push towards the conversion of Jews in Eretz Israel. During the period of 1809-1812 Ottoman Palestine was overrun with Christian proselytizers. Under the British mandate, itself a Christian authority, Christian missionary efforts had already assumed proportions that threatened to undermine the spiritual and religious survival of the Jewish population of the land.

As in the past, missionaries today spend substantial amounts of money establishing churches, hospitals, charities, feeding kitchens and workshops where Christian publications are given out for free or at low cost. These campaigns are well thought out, with Christian leaders relying on the ignorance of the Jews so as not to have their plans thwarted. In a successful campaign that helped those early new immigrants with food, money and social services, they succeeded in spreading their gospel. Their hidden agenda is today barely noticed, covered up in layers of what seems like intrinsic sacrifice on the behalf of Jews they just want to help.

Today, there is no longer a small campaign by a single group of missionaries to convert Jews in Israel, but a strategic and well-crafted plan, funded by billions of dollars, to make it happen. This is no exaggeration; literally billions are being spent to convert Jews across the world and specifically in Israel. There is a book written by a notorious Christian preacher and missionary in which he describes how he and his wife made aliyah several years ago. In his Messianic Jewish Manifesto, the author calls for Christians to go ahead with the attempt at aliyah. This man is a member of the Lausanne Consultation on Jewish Evangelism, the world's most aggressive Christian missionary support and management group, an organization founded by none other than Reverend Billy Graham. A highly secretive organization, based in Denmark with a wide global network, its membership includes every major Protestant and Messianic missionary group in the world. In Israel alone, its membership totals at least six agencies, six congregations and 29 individuals.

The "Thailand Report on Jewish People", developed at a meeting of the Lausanne Consultation on Jewish Evangelism, made mention of the fact that Christians need to increase their activity against the Jews, going as far as identifying Jewish targets as Ashkenazi and Sephardic. They have already converted thousands of Jews in schools and universities throughout Israel. They say that more thought should be given to the nature of the training necessary for reaching the different segments of the community: "We observe that some training is more geared to reaching Orthodox Jews, whereas secular Jews form a great majority in most communities."

American Evangelists Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell have both been involved in Christian proselytizing by radio. Robertson started broadcasting from across the Lebanese border in 1979. At one time, he wanted to put up an antenna in Samaria, which had the capability of beaming radio signals to Jerusalem, but he was challenged by local residents. Today, because of the liberalism inherent in the Israeli government, Christian evangelicals have been issued licenses to operate radio stations based out of Jerusalem. These stations have been given the right to continue their work of converting the Jews to Christianity, while Jewish radio stations that teach Torah continue to be banned or face difficulty obtaining permits.

There is not only a radio campaign, but a television one as well. It was in 1979 that Robertson's organization began broadcasting Christian programming 28 hours a week in Israel. In 1982, Hope TV station in Lebanon was donated to Pat Robertson's Christian Broadcasting Network and became Middle East Television. In 1997, Middle East Television began Christian evangelism on the AMOS-1 communication satellite over the Middle East to a potential audience of 200 million people in 15 nations, including Israel. They broadcast their idolatry over Israel's channel 24, where you can watch The Harvest Show - and it is not a vegetable they seek to harvest, it's Jews. They broadcast in Hebrew, while shows in English have Hebrew subtitles. They show programs such as the Beverly Hillbillies, Head of the Class, and The Andy Griffith Show mixed in among Pat Robertson's 700 Club, This Is Your Day, Evangelist Joyce Meyer, Dr. Lester Sumrall, Another Day of Victory and Harvest. The Jews in Israel are virtually bombarded by television shows that teach them they are incomplete unless they accept the Christian way of life and belief.

Christian evangelical groups in Israel run something called the Joseph Project. It is an organization designed to look like a humanitarian organization, but is actually a missionary based group that targets new, Russian-speaking immigrants. The Joseph Project is a division of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America. This organization is endorsed by mainstream Christian organizations, including the Christian Coalition of America, Christian Broadcasting Network, Promise Keepers and Pat Boone, entertainer and Christian evangelist. This group was founded in February of 1996 on the principles that:

"The torch of the Messiah Yeshua's [Jesus'] love will be set on a high hill, through the testimony of both Messianic Jews and Gentile Christians together... And finally, the Messianic Jewish community will be able to demonstrate in practical and loving terms that we truly are part and parcel of our Jewish people."

In 2003, their Ship of Blessing unloaded in Israel's Ashdod Port. The cargo, $20 million worth of "humanitarian aid", was put into port warehouses, awaiting clearance for distribution. Part of the load was set to go to the Israel Defense Forces' Friends of the Soldiers Association. They said other cargo would go to "our storefronts and other aid outlets." This group has sent over 32 containers worth of materials, some 640 tons of resources. This begs the question: what was in these humanitarian packages? Who inspects these - the secular Israeli government? Most people will be surprised to hear this, but the Messianics operate a store in Jerusalem right outside the Old City on Jaffa Road, where, in a storefront display, they hawk their wares to unsuspecting Jews.

This missionary group is affiliated with Holy Land Ministries, which has a homeless shelter for women in south Tel Aviv and a shelter for homeless men in Jaffa. Joseph's Project has been granted three large storage facilities located midway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem by the Ministry of Welfare. Yes, you read that right, the Christian missionaries are providing homeless shelters for Jews, and are operating missionary book stores filled with material written to convince Jews to accept Jesus - all inside in Israel, free and clear, with no opposition. The Joseph Project is but one of the many Christian organizations in Israel that exist for the sole purpose of conversion of the Jews of Israel. The MJAA is one of the most acutely dangerous organizations in the Messianic world. Another of their projects, Operation Tikvah, targets the Ethiopian Jews, and they boast to have converted more than 700 of them already in recent years.

These proselytizers don't neglect a geographical dimension in their evangelistic plan. They strategize over areas within Israel where there is almost no Christian presence, as well as when the optimum time to operate is. And while many evangelicals are targeting Jews in Israel, some have spoken out against it. One Christian leader, named Pastor Kenneth Rawson, has made an ominous statement that should be required reading by every Jew in Israel:

The Biblical interpretation of most Evangelical Zionists demands a Christian Israel before Jesus can return. In fact, they believe two-thirds of the Israelis will be killed and damned eternally while only one-third will convert and escape damnation. This is well-publicized in the Evangelical bestseller book series Left Behind.... They are pressing their conversion agenda. There are Evangelical tour groups trained to disarm, and then convert Israelis. Evangelicals have ingratiated themselves into Israeli communities. In Ariel, an Evangelical friend of the mayor is conducting a covert missionary operation with a vision to multiply this operation throughout Israel. Christian Jews from the Ukraine, Argentina and elsewhere are immigrating to Israel. Israel is becoming honeycombed with 'one on one' missionaries and home churches. Israelis, wake up!
