Dieses Event ist eine Kooperation von Red-Gold-Green.de und der Rock Stube 2. Diese findet ihr in der Boxhagener Strasse 14, in Berlin.

Entre las que he re-encontrado se encuentra esta que sonó hasta principios del nuevo siglo. Desde su aparición a mediados de los 80s, 1985 para ser precisos, con dos temazos: Boy y I Touch Roses no pararon. Editaron un disco cada dos años y luego de su cuarto álbum llamado Lovebubble (1993), desaparecieron. Para los despistados como yo, les cuento que me refiero a Book Of Love.

Este cuarteto de viejos amigos de estudio formado en 1984, consiguió firmar contrato con SIRE Records gracias a su primer hit Boy. Susan Ottaviano (coros) y Ted Ottaviano (compositor/teclados/coros) a pesar de tener iguales apellidos no tienen ningún parentesco, Lauren Roselli (teclados/coros) y Jade Lee (teclados/coros), dejaron sus estudios de artes cuando por casualidad se les ocurrió juntarse a ¨hacer¨ música.

La banda solo tiene cuatro LPs y se formo en Filadelfia.Pasaron mas de veinte años de esos temas… me lleve una gran sorpresa volverlos a escuchar. Sorpresa de las que revolviendo mis discos cada tanto me llevo. En la web me encontré con algunos remixes con sonido más actual, pero me limito a recomendarles las cuatro placas originales, sobre todo las dos primeras, Book Of Love (1986) y Lullaby (1988). Las dos restantes Candy Carol (1991) y Lovebubble (1993) las dejo a vuestro criterio. Los Book Of Love ya forman parte de 80s y 90s, ahora doy vuelta el disco y a seguir desempolvando música. What we know, or think we know: House was in a bus crash. He saw someone dying. But who it was, and what was hurting that person, is locked somewhere in his drug-addled brain (inside his cracked skull, to boot). The episode was spent in a frantic search for what House saw, with hypnosis, reenactments, and some kind of creepy dark bath all playing a part — and in the end, we finally learned who was dying. Or at least who might be dying, if the writers aren't pulling an elaborate "but it was all a dream!" scam on us. To check out my thoughts, just .

I'm mad at myself for taking so long to figure out the big twist that Amber was on the bus with House. Between Amber showing up in House's very first attempt at hypnosis and the woman saying "What is my necklace made of?" I should have had it way sooner. On the other hand, though, I loved the chilling feeling I got in the pit of my stomach when the mystery woman's face faded away to reveal Amber's. House hasn't had an outright creepy episode in a while, but the writers do it so well.

Meanwhile: What was Amber doing on the bus with House? Was he wooing Amber from Wilson? Or is there some more complicated explanation for what was going on?

I rarely think of House as a cool show to actually look at — other than the occasional animated foray into someone's bloodstream, every episode mostly looks the same. But the cleverness of the cinematography in this episode wowed me, from the Beer-brand beer in House's recollections to the faceless people on the bus (so eerie!) to the way the scenes kept fading in and out of different layers of House's memory. If the point was to throw us off-track so we could no longer tell what was real and what was a hallucination, well, it worked. I found myself looking for subtle clues — did House have blood on his shirt there? a limp? his cane? — to try to pinpoint where we were in time.

Some other thoughts:

• Thirteen = Hadley? Did you hope her name would be cooler?
• I know, intellectually, that there was no point to House's fantasy with Cuddy as a schoolgirl stripper besides giving Fox something for a salacious promo bit. I do know that. And yet, it still made me chuckle. Now I guess we know what House would want to see in his dying moments.
• Who was the mystery woman House saw instead of Amber? A real person? His fantasy of a beautiful woman?
• "I'm not a lesbian." "I was rounding up from 50 percent."
• Was anyone else surprised how flippant House's team seemed at the beginning? Sure, he was drugged and/or under the influence of his cracked skull, but if my boss insisted someone was dying and only I could help him save that person, I'm not sure my reaction would be "yeah, whatever, page me" – even if my boss were a pathological liar.
• On a similar note, not sure why everyone seemed so shocked that House would put his own life in danger to solve a mystery. Wasn't it just earlier this season that he tried to electrocute himself?
• Best Wilson line in a long time: "The penis-size cortex is set to pathetic."

What did you think? Did you love the episode, or did it frustrate you? What do you think is true, and what's a hallucination? And do you think this is going to come down to some big "House vs. Amber, and only one can live" thing? Cause I'm pretty sure I know who would win that one.

Because, honestly, I couldn't blame him if that was the case.  If I have to look out at the sea of mud that is my "yard" for another weak I am going to SCREAM.

The joy of new construction home ownership is that so much is left up to the weather.  Due to the cold and snow of this winter, we were set back 3 weeks on our closing.  Now, due to Missouri's lovely penchant for rain, a month into homeownership and I still don't have sod.  We were told we would need a week of no rain for them to even begin to think about it.

It feels like I only have half a home--because going outside means sidewalk/driveway and nothing more.  Thank God we don't have dogs or kids running around, because I would seriously go nuts

And holy shit, Jim Edmonds is a Cub.

I've already found about three houses in Ferndale that I really like and one that I love. Right size, right price, now I've just gotta go check them out...and save a bit more money. I'm pretty sure there's something severely wrong with the one I love because it's just too perfect and too good of a deal. Maybe someone died there...

B is in Cedar Point today, but he didn't actually do to the park. I'm gonna take him with me when I get free tix from work and force him to go on the rides. He's never been on a roller coaster before! Due to a previous experience with a totally sucky riding partner* I'm going to try and get Jessica and Justin to come with us because I know Justin will ride everything and Jess and B can sit and be lame.

Del tema poco que decir como siempre, creo que es bastante conocido por todos. De Crystal, decir que es una cantante Afro-Americana que tuvo dos grandes éxitos a lo largo de su carrera, y que éste fue uno de ellos, el otro se titulaba Pure Love.

El último trabajo que ha hecho ha sido junto a Alex Gaudino, en ese tema ahora tan famoso que se llama "Destination Calabria", sí, ese que dice... "Destineichon an noun" :P

The festival takes place Memorial Day weekend from Saturday, May 24th through Monday, May 26th in Detroit, Michigan.
The festival that started as DEMF (The Detroit Electronic Music Festival) has been in existence since the year 2000,
initially started by Pop Culture Media along with artistic director Carl Craig.
It has passed through the hands of various management, including Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and its current 3-year managing organization, Paxahau.
The festival holds a special place for fans of the roots of electronic music, as Detroit is credited as the birthplace of techno,
and it is a bit of a return to Mecca for many of the genre’s fans.
Many noted up and coming performers have taken part in the event, as well as several mainstays that have helped to shape the sound in general,
such as Kenny Dixon Jr. (AKA Moodymann), Scion (with a special secret appearance by Basic Channel), Inner City, Luomo, Underground Resistance, Derrick May and many more.
