My teaching load is solid-full on that day: from 8am until 5pm. This, of course, was my choice - having begged for certain students to be given to and/or retained with me. I know the clinic has also bent over backwards to allow me my "whims." Therefore, this teacher cannot even claim any maltreatment - at least not from anyone else but myself. =b

See, I have mostly older students, with such full schedules - leaving each of them just a little window to accommodate fitting me into their schedule. I so totally stand by this decision. Still- my body (and, I am ashamed to admit, my spirit) sometimes just wants to give up.

Another big adjustment for me is the fact that I only have Sundays now to earn what I call my "pansustento sa bisyo ng pagtuturo." (I host children's parties on weekends.) This effectively cuts my earnings in half. That is, when I am not lucky (or masochistic) enough to  have 2 parties in a day. This, I tell you, is a killer. It takes a toll on my body. It drains my creative juices. It makes my voice so hoarse at the end of the day. It makes me dip into my "happiness" reserve, which is on a steady dwindle. And, most importantly - it takes away from my time with my God... to praise Him and love Him, and bask in His love.

But that is how the cookie crumbles. So I accept. After all, I cannot indulge in finger-pointing when all all of them point to me. =b

So, with such a full plate (work responsibilities plus all the drama of the telenovela I call my life) - and financial emergencies upon emergencies (I never realized how much I took Kuya Binch's financial help in our household for granted), I have been finding myself, once again, running on empty. (Yes - I mix my metaphors. But there's poetry in having a full plate and running on empty at the same time, wouldn't you say? =b)

THEN.

Today, I find myself full. Yes, my plate is still spilling over; but, so is my tank. 

See, yesterday, I had a double treat. In the morning, I got (indirectly) affirmed by a parent of one of my kids. She was marveling at how much her hitherto non-reading, averse-to-writing son has grown in the past months. That acknowledgment gave me such a boost - especially because it came from someone for whom I have immense respect.

Later in the afternoon, I got a call from another mom. At first, the call filled me with trepidation. This mom has been filled with frustration for a long time (mainly because their family, my student included, has been doing everything they can to make sure the child copes with the current school's academic demands; and yet all the efforts still seem to fall short)- and she just came from a meeting with my student's adviser in school. Here is the report: from D's, my student now has mostly B minuses, and a couple of C's (for Math and Science, which the adviser said were difficult for ALL the students in school). From D's to B-'s... WOW!

I am so tempted to get all the glory; to claim the accolade. Yet I know that, in both instances, none of this is my doing. These are all my kids' achievements (yes, I claim all my students as MY kids; the parents just have to live with the knowledge that I love their son and/or daughter). I am just blessed enough to have been privy to their slow unfolding: the realization that they CAN, indeed do it. Nope - not only cope, but THRIVE. That the notion that has been hammered into their psyche most of their lives is indeed untrue. They are not "slow,;" they are not lazy; they are, most certainly, not under-achievers - some substandard issue of a person who is less than their peers.

They just learn differently; and it is OUR oversight, not any deficiency on their part, that makes them fail to perform at par with others. They just have to get over some "humps." Once that is discovered - the growth is so turbo-charged that I have to fasten my seat belt.

With each kid that I have been privileged enough to encounter - whether my student or one of my co-teachers' -  this journey of growth has been so replicated that I can easily claim it as a truism. 

With such immeasurable gratification - how, then, can I ever claim to run on empty?

God! I so love the workplace - and the job You have given me to do. It is an honor to do it with all that I've got.

(PS: So, I just mentioned 2 students here. Basically because both incidents happened just when I needed the boost. But ALL my kids have been showing such great and steady growth. It's the easiest thing in the world to just make sure that their persons are nurtured into the fruition of their true selves. =b I SOOOOOO LOVE MY JOB!)

gone were the days where i had nothing to do and i went to sleep early just to pass the time. i literally have no time to blog anymore. i am suddenly in this hectic cycle where the day begins with  me opening my eyes, going to work, teach, stayback, finishing my work (i am a firm believer in not bringing my work home) and by the time i get back the only energy i have left is basically just fumes so i rest. and usually, i would fit in time to be with B. :) believe me, i've tried more than once to blog, but it jsut was'nt meant to be. :lol:

basically, these are the highlights of  my life while i had no time to blog:

• working during the fasting month. even during the school holidays *grumble* .
• spending much needed quality time with the brats. they're actually funny when they're not annoying the heck out of me. hehehe.. my source of amusement.
• my cousin giving birth to a beautiful baby boy. my grandma's first great grandkid. :D i have yet to meet the lil Azryan Syazmie Khan but pictures of him made me wanna give him a tight squeeze..
• my best friens coming home for the holiday. fiz and fets came home for about a week. i'm really glad that even after all these years, with millions of miles separating us, i can still confide in them with anything. :) oh and i find it weird that people are shock -slash- amazed that rnB "are still together". isnt our motto "for life"? heh..
• being with B. :D

speaking of the love of my life, we had just celebrated our 7th year anni on the first day of raya. honestly, it didnt feel like my anni. it felt more like raya than anniversary. i actually wrote something for him. the plam was to post it on the day itself but yeaaa.. sigh. no time.

so i decide to post it now. the usual warning, mushy & disgustingly sweet nothings ahead.. :p

7 YEARS, BABY!! 7 YEARS!! hehehe.. that never gets old.. i love you. more than you know. i'm glad that i was brazen enough to go up to you that day and just started talking. (though i bet you wish i'd stop now and then :p) i'm thrilled that you admit you like me too. i'm happy that you asked me to be your girlfriend. and i am forever thankful that you love me too. after all this time, you are the only thing that still makes sense. i've been wrecking my brain, trying to find the right words to tell you how i feel. do you know how much i love you? its probably bordering on obsession. :lol: here's the best i can do:

When we arrived Mason, Ant, and some of the 1 Block Radius band members were hanging out on top of the Hard Rock Cafe. Mason was enjoying a little smoke break but was easily distracted by fans screaming his name.

Lauren (always the fan) screamed to him and he looked over, pointed, and waved. I would have settled for that as an amazing evening, however later on when we were level on the balcany of the food court he made his way over with a friend and held down a staring contest with the four of us...well three of us. I personally find Mason very attractive and so i found myself staring at Lauren and Maddie dancing and staring back at him, then actually taking part in it myself. I'll get over the nerves eventually, trust me.

Mason was at the first X and we were located at the second X. It doesn't seem even from the viewpoint in this picture, but there was a second balcony directly facing the food court and it was amazing Romeo & Juliet love.

With the personal time out of the way, let's talk about the concert...

Prima J opened the concert performing the same three songs as always. Tame, Rockstar, Corozon was the lineup-the same exact lineup that they performed at Wango Tango a few months prior except this time with less effort.

While I fully enjoy some of their songs, their performance unfortunatly made it hard to take them serious as professional artists. All three songs were almost completely lipsynced outside of the rare "ahhh" in Tame. In certain parts of the performance they didn't even attempt to look like they were singing, just smiling without holding up the mic while their voices played loudly in the background.

Both girls have serious potential, I just wish they would try to put on the best performance, otherwise they don't look like they care that much, and soon the people won't care that much either.

One Block Radius performed second, although we didn't notice they performed at all. Their pictures were all taken by KIISFM because as soon as we left our seats, took the elevator down to the stage floor and found a decent side spot, they were already through with their set. I'm not sure if that means they performed less than 3 songs and that is why we missed them, or they performed more but just worn't good enough to draw our attention. I can't make any judgements until I listen to their music personally, but I'm not positive how successful they will become with the lack of drawing in the crowds like they currently have. Hopefully they'll be wiser than Prima J!

The final performance was from crowd's favorite Metro Station. The gentlemen have been recieving a lot of great recognition lately due to their recent hit, "Shake it" along with "Seventeen Forever" gaining airplay after being featured in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 trailer. I personally really enjoy Metro's debut album and having seen them live just a few weeks prior, knew what they were capable of performing live.

I'm not sure what happened to Ant's drum equipment, but for whatever reason it didn't find its way on stage.  Therefore, their performance was very unique with Prima J style background instruments that worn't there being played, and constantly not singing along to the words when their microphones were acting up. We had driven over an hour (one way) to see them perform, and a toll road violation, parking fees, gas prices, and work complications later, they only performed three songs. "Shake it", "Seventeen Forever", and "Control" were the songs of choice and although I like those songs, the crowd kept asking for them to sing "Kelsey" to which they never did. In less than 10 minutes the main act had been on and off stage, leaving many fans wondering if that was the end of the concert or not with no formal goodbyes or thank you's. A simple, "Sorry about those F****** A**H****" was all Trace left the crowd with.

It was a dissapointing concert to say the least. Athough it was a free event, attendee's were lead to believe with the KIISFM website and other Ads for the event stating the event would take place from 6-9 pm, that the concert would last for more than 9 songs from 7:10pm-8pm. The quality staring time before the Jam began was the only memorable aspect of the evening with not a single piece of praise going towards the event itself. It seems like a harsh critique, but it was very difficult to find anything about it to praise about. I guess you get what you get from open events such as this, I just wish for next time the advertisements are more accurrately addressed that "You Get What You Pay For:Nothing.

En 1987, il observe avec inquiétude l'Irlande devenir membre de l'Union Européenne et engage des poursuites contre le gouvernement. Le résultat du jugement Crotty vs Taoiseach oblige le gouvernement irlandais à tenir un référendum lors de chaque modification des objectifs et traités de l'Union Européenne.

La lutte de Crotty pour la souveraineté irlandaise a obtenu des résultats extrèmement importants, au grand déplaisir de certains chef de file européens. Sa victoire a donné la possibilité au peuple irlandais de voter sur le traité de Lisbonne. Alors que le traité doit s'appliquer aux 27 pays de l'Union, seul les Irlandais ont obtenu le droit de voter à son sujet. Dans les autres pays de l'Union Européenne, ce sont les parlements qui ratifient le traité, ce qui a déjà eu lieu dans 23 pays alors que l'Italie devrait le faire bientôt.

Avant que les Irlandais ne prennent le chemin de l'isoloir, la pression venait à la fois des leaders européens et de l'establishment local. Un groupe comprenant 95 % des élus, des grands groupes industriels et des grands syndicats, des plus grandes organisations d'agriculteurs et de quelques autres associations appelaient à voter "oui". L'Irish Times publiait des éditoriaux titrant Un oui est impératif tandis que l'Irish Independant écrivait On a besoin d'un Oui. Après qu'un sondage de l'Irish Times/TNS MRBI suggéra peu avant le référendum que le Non pouvait l'emporter, un éditorial de l'Irish Times demanda : Sommes-nous devenus fous.

Beaucoup ont du croire qu'une telle pression allait produire un puissant OUI ! Mais le peuple Irlandais a répondu brillamment en rejetant le traité par 53,4 %. Un sondage qui suivit de près le référendum a révélé de profondes divisions de classe, la classe des salariés rejetant le traité à une très importante majorité.

L'alliance hétéroclite qui a fait campagne contre le traité est venu d'une grande variété de milieu sociaux et politiques. Des associations de gauche telle que People Before Profit, le Parti Socialiste, le Sinn Féin, le Workers Solidarity Movement et le People Movement se sont attaquées à des points précis du traité. Ces groupes de gauche ont été rejoints par des groupes de droite comme Coir et le nouvellement formé Libertas Party.

Le premier ministre Brian Cowen a admit ne pas avoir lu entièrement le traité tandis que le ministre des finances -- actuel lement commissaire européen-- Charlie McCreevy affirmait que "seul un fou le lirait". La présentation parcellaire et confuse du traité de Lisbonne était très différente de la constitution européenne publiée en 2005 et qui était devenue un bestseller en France, permettant au peuple français de comprendre ce sur quoi ils devaient voter.

La comparaison est éclairante. Les électeurs français avaient rejeté la constitution le 29 mai 2005 avec une participation record de 70% et les Allemands les avaient rapidement suivis le premier juin. Ces votes négatifs avaient forcé d'autres pays européens de repousser leurs propres référendum, sans toutefois décourager totalement les dirigeants européens. Alors que la constitution nécéssite l'organisation de référendum pour pouvoir être signée par la plupart des pays européens, ce n'est pas le cas des traités. Plutôt que de poursuivre une stratégie risquée où les peuples ont leurs mots à dire, les leaders européens ont choisi le traité de Lisbonne pour poursuivre les réformes que la constitution devait établir.

La présentation peur claire du traité de Lisbonne avait pour but d'encourager les peuples d'Europe à croire que rien de substantielle n'était ajouté et que le traité ne concernait que quelques révisions de procédure pour permettre à l'Union Européenne de travailler plus efficacement. Les médias et le monde politique irlandais n'ont cessé de le répéter, même si l'ancien premier ministre Garret Fitzgerald observait que "l'incompréhension a remplacé la simplicité comme méthode d'explication des réformes européennes. Les changements que l'on se propose de faire aujourd'hui dans le traité ne sont que de l'habillage qui n'ont aucun effet pratique. Ils sont destinés à permettre aux gouvernements de vendre aux peuples les ratifications via l'action parlementaire plutôt que par des référendum." Cette stratégie a été très efficace et de nombreux pays ont pu ratifier le traité avec les parlements. Cependant, un sondage du 5 juin et un autre à la sortie des urnes ont montré qu'en ceci résidait la raison principale du vote négatif des irlandais.

Le contenu du traité de Lisbonne révele à la fois le manque d'honneteté et les pratiques antidémocratiques des élites européennes, mais aussi le futur qu'ils envisagent pour l'Europe. Les propositions du traité de Lisbonne pronent la prolifération militaire, une Europe centralisée et peu démocratique, et une influence toujours croissante du néolibéralisme et de l'influence des grandes sociétés dans les affaires européennes.

Default the sitemap not ping Yahoo after generated, because you need a yahoo key to ping it, so I put a key (get free form yahoo) as default, I suggest you get one free key from yahoo too and put there, of course if you like you may keep my key, not a big deal.

Ok, it's half done, all the change on the plugin is finished, if user active the plugin at them plugin page, a sitemap.xml and a sitemap.xml.gz (a zip verison) will be create and placed into the blog folder and ping the search engines.

Everything is perfect except: the sitemap.xml NOT at root folder, so when search engine spider come, it can claw nothing except a 404 error. The following is how to fix this:

Don't laugh, I know it's a silly title, just some stupid thing have to do.

We know the php file in mu-plugins folder will be load automatically by WordPress. So I created a postedpost.php file and write all my little change and hacks inside, like my Ultimate WP Post Name URL Sanitize Solution, I suggest you do it to, very easy and convenience. Anyway, the following code should inside mu-plugins folder.

These code all about rewrite rules, when search engine or visitor visit /sitemap.xml, it will be 302 redirect to /wp-content/blogs.dir/[blog_id]/files/sitemap.xml. Btw, in my own code, I have many other rewrite rules and process code in these functions, that also why I say put all hacks in one php file, for make easier on process common task and improve performance.

Acıklama; bu komutu uyguladıgımız taktirde lale kanalından hiç bir kullanıcı giremez, kanalda "banlı oldugunu belirten" bir yazı ile karşılaşacaktır, oysaki nick'e atılan
bir ban söz konusu degildir, tüm kanal geneline atılan bir bandır.
yalnız kanal'dan biri kullanıcıyı davet ettimi "/invite nick #lale" bu ban o kullanıcı için etkisiz kalıcaktır, veyahut
kanala bir nick için atılmış bir +e (except, hariç tutmak) varsa, yine etkilenmez atılan ban'dan, kanal'a giriş cıkışı serbest'dir.

Boston Legal est bien entendu le spin-off de la série The Practice, elle a débuté le 26 septembre 2004 aux Etats-Unis sur la chaîne ABC. La série est tout aussi vive, subtile et intelligente que son aînée, mais traite les sujets sur un ton plus léger... On y retrouve James Spader, qui est apparu dans la série The Practice, tout comme Rhona Mitra. L'associé d'Alan Shore, Denny Crane, est interprété par William Shatner .

Alan Shore travaillait autrefois au cabinet Donnell & Associés, mais il a fini par se faire virer sans ménagement. Il décide donc, avec l'avocat Denny Crane, d'ouvrir une société de conseil juridique pour de puissantes et riches entreprises.

Les deux avocats s'associent dans la deuxième saison avec la brillante Shirley Schmidt, jouée par la talentueuse Candice Bergen. Autour de ces trois dirigeants, de nombreux assistants et avocats: Brad Chase (Mark Valley), Paul Lewiston (Rene Auberjonois) et celles qui ont quitté la série au bout de la première saison, à savoir Lori Colson (Monica Potter), Tara Wilson (Rhona Mitra), et pour finir Sally Heep (Lake Bell). Au fil des saisons, de nombreux autres avocats les ont rejoint, souvent le temps d'une saison seulement: Claire Simms (Constance Zimmer), Katie Loyd (Tara Summers) ou encore Carl Sack (John Larroquette).

Após alguns contatos iniciais ele conversa diretamente com o famoso cangaceiro e expõe sua idéia, mas os sonhos do mascate são prejudicados pela ditadura do Estado Novo.

Comentários: Já ouvi falar um bocado desse filme, mas nunca havia assistido. Achei por acaso e pensei: "Olha que pérola! Não posso deixar passar!". Espero que seja tão bom quanto sempre ouvi dizer que era ;D.
