My section of the blog is going to take a turn from now on, I'm afraid, for better or worse really. So what would make my focus different, you may ask?

I'm gay. Okay? I just am. You wanna know why I know I'm gay? It's not because guys find it hot and it's not even necessarily because I want to be. It just is. 

Picture a scene.

2 girls walking down the street, an attractive male walks by. But the attractive male also has a very attractive brown leather doctor bag across his chest. Girl 1 says oooh check him out, and Girl 2 says, oooh check out his bag. Girl 2 was me. And girl 2 is GAY. 

Now I know I've been writing in this blog about MEN quite a lot, but having weighed up my past and recent experiences, I've come to terms with the fact that I'm an OCD, tennis luvin, ball breakin, LESBIAN. 

Case in point: I've never been in a relationship with a man for more than a month at a time. 

Case in point 2: I've never had actual all the way sex with a man because I chose not to...because it was weird. 

Case in point 3: While I admire men's physicality at times, the thought of actually having them on top of me is a bit frightening. 

Case in point 4: I love women. Not just any women. Lesbian, boyish women, also known as "butch" to some. However, I like mine pretty and respectable, not scary motorcycle drivin carpet munchers. Cause. Bitch please. And like Tilia says, 'homey don't play that." 

I have been struggling with this fact for a while now, for almost 5 years, and that fact that I've actually come to terms with being gay makes me feel extremely happy, and almost complete. Because I'm not lying to myself anymore. I'm not trying to be someone I'm not. 

And that feels damn satisfying. 

I hung out with Carla the other night and she even said there was this natural glow about me that didn't seem to be there before. It must be the rainbow in me baby. 

There will be many challenges to living as a gay female, but there are just as many challenges for straight people so I'm not feeling sorry for myself in that regard at all. In fact I feel quite lucky to know what I want. 

I'd actually like to use this blog as a way to reach out to those who may be somewhat confused about their sexuality and be able to express my humble opinion of the situation they find themselves in. 

So by all means, if you feel like sharing or engaging in this type of pedagogical discussion, bring it on, male and female, alien and animal alike. Bring. It. On. I'm ready to tell you how I really feel. 

Because I finally know how I feel.

These are some accounts of people who have reported seeing objects in the sky on 10-14-08 although these reports do not collaborate with what blossom goodchild reported I believe that even the best psychic or channel can misinterpret information or inadvertently take it out of context, ok so below are the reports:

This first report is of a member of my site,
I went down to the river near my house tonight after i was finished work*I was going to the place where i usually sit and meditate.On my way down to my spot.I was amazed to see not just one but 2 UFO's:)The fist one was as fast as a shooting star.But twice as big,and was gone in a blink.The 2nd was closer,and seemed to be the size of a plane in the sky,yet it moved unlike any plane iv ever seen(along with the fact it had a interesting tail of white light behind it).It did an almost loop around the moon and then disappeared* It was the most amazing sight *the emotions i felt are hard to describe, but it was almost as tho a family member was saying hello to me'.I had an overwhelming sense of begin home sick/sad followed by a feeling of being unconditionally loved*The whole experience left me wanting more.And i sat for another hour hoping my family would return

I have never seen a UFO before.and now that i have, im' excited to see what will happens next:)

It was everything i expected an more!

This was a comment left on this blog earlier on another post
I seen at about 9:30pm last night on 10/14/08 some lights shining off to the west. I was waiting on a bus. I ran home and went out my back door because there is no lights back there. I seen with in an hour 10 objects flying. Some had 1 light some had no lights blinking at all. My boyfriend had come and also witnessed this. When he came out there were what looked to be 3 stars at three different angles shapping in a triangle form but no solid lines. after we kept watching the sky 2 more of these appeard. I kept watching and around 10:45 a craft of some sort flew through my area at a really low depth. It was lower than the sears towe it had to have been. I saw its lights but it had no solid structure you could actually see through it. If this was millitary, well done it not they are still here and we will be seeing more of them. I did not get pics because I am digitilly disadvantaged, LOL! But I think I might inves.

I apologize if this message seems to have a lot of typos and seems rushed it is only that I can not contain myself and must share this information with somebody tonight as I looked out my window I saw an enormous ball of light shoot from the sky further down in to our atmosphere I will try to explain it in detail as best as I can, this light was solid white the light was so beautiful I can barely contain my emotions and my eyes have already begun to well up.

My heart is racing I have never felt such joy and love, the best I can describe this light is that it looked like a very solid orb the type you see in paranormal photography but it was about the size of a blimp but made of pure white light and it was a solid mass, this light had no trail and made no sound, and it appeared out of nowhere it appeared right in the middle of the sky and descended diagonally and then disappeared just below the middle of the sky but before any buildings or trees etc and moved at an incredibly non man made speed but yet it was graceful and precise, no object or celestial body can appear out of nowhere and then proceed to disappear out of where.

I thanked them and the creator for allowing me to see this amazing event now I cant wait for full on revelation…I tell you in all sincerity that what we witnessed as a civilization is the most beautiful loving and peaceful beings known to man, this I felt when I saw this scout ship nothing but love, peace and light whip out the champagne and rejoice! at last First Contact.

I guess it means- we are all in the same boat together? It was a streak across the sky, it had a light blue tinge to it, and all I know is the joy I felt from it. So I take that as a good sign.

At approximately 1 AM, my mother and I (who had been watching the skies for any signs) saw what appeared to be a star, only much brighter. It was hanging low in the south and made no noticeable moves. With binoculars, we could see it distinctly blinking blue to red to yellow/white. By 4 AM it had moved higher and more to the east, and by 530 AM it was no longer visible.

stargazing last night, i noticed what was surely the prettiest star. it twinkled a rainbow of hues very brightly. it was not the first time i have observed it in pretty much the same position, which was about forty degrees elevation, to the east south east, just above the neighbourhood treeline. last night though, through both binoculars and naked eye, the star was especially transfixing. i felt an enthrallment and felt unwilling to remove my gaze for several minutes. really a very soothing feeling, almost hypnotic, obviously very hard to describe; i was feeling quite a connection to this star! in my marvel i thought i saw the star wander to and fro, and even change altitude, but i couldnt be sure because these movements were slow, and i have no tripod setup of any sort. so still 'connected', i 'asked' for slightly more conclusive behaviour; i dont know what i was expecting, maybe a figure eight! there was no variation in activity for half a minute or so, but then the star brightened slightly before fading out to black over three seconds. i stayed out only for another five minutes or so, but i came out again about a half hour later to find the same light had returned, and now it was definitely wandering, with noticeable displacement. observed it off and on until about four am, when the the clouds rolled in. i am quite impressed, since until last night i had only suspected this object to be.. unidentifiable compelling. im certain i will see it again.

I was driving home from work in a Westerly direction when I noticed a mysterious bright light in the morning sky that is not normally there when I drive home. I looked up and noticed the object was hovering back and forth across the road ahead of me. It seemed to go from the left to the right and then back to the left again. I continued to drive home and kept a close eye on the object. I started up the last hill on my way into the town I live and realized that the object was above this hill. I couldn't make out any detail except that it was a bright light, very much like a star. But the sun was out and no other objects where in the sky like that. As I was about to crest the hill and go almost directly under the object the light just disappeared and I could not find it again. I have no idea what the light was, if it was a planet, star, or ufo. It's just something that I cannot explain. I felt very paranoid after I lost sight of the object while I was descending the hill into the valley below. It was extremely foggy down in the valley which amplified my paranoid creepy feeling I had. My father has also seen objects(lights) that he can't explain in the sky and he has lived in this town his whole life. On a side note, I noticed a very similar light a few months before but over a different hill and from a much farther distance.

Enquanto os blogueiros pelo mundo afora preocupam-se com a situação do dólar, a eventual escassez de alimentos, as perdas dos mercados e afins, o pessoal cá da territa brasilis preocupa-se com o o Blossom Goodchild. É de lascar. Aí abaixo ficam, como exemplos, as principais freqüências no  Wordpress  como visto por um cidadão nos EUA e como ficam vistas no Orkut brasileiro  (digo, Wordpress brasileiro) . Isso  é bastante representativo das diferenças essenciais entre os interesses atuais dos irmãos do Norte e dos bananas daqui. :)

Como uma coisa leva a outra, afinal censurar os colegas não é algo de bom, pensei melhor e constatei que talvez estejamos infinitamente mais avançados que os EUA em relação a estratégias de marketing. No caso, o que realmente importa para um blog é a quantidade de hits, para qualquer fim comercial e de venda do peixe particular.

Pensando melhor então, resolvi bolar aqui umas dicas para a otimização da estratégia hiteana para um blog típico. Vão aí as dicas grátis.

1. Quando não sabe o que vai falar, embrome. Nem vou entrar muito nesse assunto porque você sabe o que é embromar. Tem uma seção Embromation aqui no blog caso você queira aumentar sua expertise. Lembre-se que é possível encher artigos com a maior quantid[polldaddy poll=998910]ade de palavras e com o mínimo de conteúdo. Mas não exagere: lembre-se que a barra de rolagem lateral é algo pouco utilizado. Embrome mas tente manter a atenção do leitor.
2. Mantenha os artigos mais acessáveis no topo da página. Isso juntamente com os artigos mais lidos nas colunas laterais do blog. Lembre-se que o emprego do mouse/teclado cansa e fazer a barra de rolagem funcionar idem. Se aqui no Wordpress fizesse a estatística do uso do link Próximo ao final da página, você ficaria surpreso com o 0 de hits que esse link tem. Após isso, recheie as barras laterais com mapinhas e gráficos que nada significarão para o público, mas que serão bem coloridos e acrescentarão no design (que é tudo) final da página. A palavra acessável significa "o que mais possa ter impacto (hits, claro)" e não o que você considera melhor. Caso ache que ambos são sinônimos, pode abortar a leitura deste texto de imediato. E lembre-se que os mais acessados serão justamente as simpatias e afins, pragas que surtem efeitos de imediato e as piadas que todos levam a sério. Goethe, Fernando Pessoa e comentários sobre seriados com mais de 2 anos são artigos fadados ao esquecimento. Nunca se esqueça!

3. Apresente a notícia com frases de impacto. De alguma forma as pessoas acham que frases de impacto trazem algum benefício às vidas delas. Eu ainda não entendi direito porque, mas talvez seja devido à alguma falta de emoção que temos no dia-a-dia. Não bastasse o processo eleitoreiro a cada 4 anos. Essa apresentação é um caso particular de embromação mas é importante não dificultar a leitura, fazendo com que a linguagem atinja o leitor. Veja, por exemplo, como situar o leitor e a moderação das palavras no artigo de como aprender a escrever.
4. Apresente a notícia contendo as palavras chaves que atingem o público ao qual o artigo é destinado. O blog é como se fosse um alvo: quanto maior a quantidade de artigos maior é a probabilidade de ser visível. Não se preocupe muito com a qualidade da maioria dos artigos e tente manter um conjunto grande de artigos com interesse perene mesmo que de completa inutilidade. Para não citar um certo artigo do Jenheta, que está aqui no blog, cito um artigo meu da época que eu pensava que as pessoas conseguiam distingüir uma piada de uma informação (do comecinho do blog, quando a gente ainda não tinha muita idéia do que fazer): a simpatia para emagrecer. Acabou ficando porque traz uma parcela da população até nós (o princípio do álvaro) a qual eventualmente acaba interessando-se por mais alguma coisa.
5. Mantenha um número mínimo de artigos com aparência séria. Claro que nem só de piadas vive um blog. É necessário que existam alguns artigos de interesse que confiram alguma confiabilidade a você. Aqui no blog temos um monte deles. Mas prepare-se: geralmente só chega a você pessoas que estão preocupadas apenas com coisas superficiais (porque o mundo funciona assim, vide o Blossom Goodchild) . Artigos que dão trabalho, que você preocupou-se em fazer um trabalho investigativo e de pesquisa, eliminando quaisquer possibilidades de possuírem algum tipo de segregação ou infâmias a minorias, que continham fatos bem estabelecidos e tal... esses não dão hits. Mas mantenha alguns.
6. Impressione o público com frases complexas. Inserido no discurso simples é possível a citação de frases em outras línguas inclusive, o que pode conferir credibilidade. Obviamente, é importante que a erudição seja uma parte pequena do artigo, já que o uso disseminado pode afastar o leitor (peguiçoso). Por exemplo,
   "O velho Isaías ia todos os dias para a igreja rezar. Ao final do culto, o padre sempre tinha umas tiradas que nunca ninguém entendia. Lembro-me bem dele falar 'Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Etiam eget ligula eu lectus lobortis condimentum. Aliquam nonummy auctor massa. Pellentesque habitant morbi tristique senectus et netus et malesuada fames ac turpis egestas. Nulla at risus. Quisque purus magna, auctor et, sagittis ac, posuere eu, lectus. Nam mattis, felis ut adipiscing' ..." (sic) Mesmo que a frase não faça sentido, isso é um artifício importante.
7. O importante é o número de hits e não o tamanho do artigo. Quebre a micro notícia no blog em duas partes. Por exemplo, no Wordpress, pode ser inserida a cláusula More no código HTML. Informe-se com o colega como isso é feito. Mantenha antes da cláusula More uma pequena parte do artigo, a qual irá despertar a atenção do público. Nessa pequena parte, a maior quantidade de palavras chaves deve ser utilizada, sendo elas parte do jargão comum do meio no qual o interesse do artigo está inserido. Depois da cláusula More, fica ao seu critério o número de parágrafos que você deseja acrescentar, podendo ir de 1 até +infinito. Lembre-se de economizar nas palavras: afinal o hit foi dado. Utilize, por exemplo, as dicas apresentadas no artigo do Business Bingo.
8. Tente sempre começar o seu artigo com a letra A. Os motores de busca, como o Google, apesar de serem "inteligentes" e tentarem por em primeiro lugar as entradas que contém o maior número de palavras procuradas na busca, eles sempre tentam ordenar alfabeticamente os resultados. Caso o seu rival copie o seu artigo, coloque o artigo começando por AA. No caso particular deste artigo aqui do Chapado, o A no título não é um typo e foi proposital. Caso o seu rival coloque AAA, não insista: ponha "(Atualizado)" ou coisas similares: os artigos são ordenados pela tabela ASCII e o "(" vem antes do "A".
9. Tente sempre incluir a palavra "grátis" no seu artigo. Vivemos num mundo de pés rapados, sem um tusto prá dar de esmola, o qual fará até falta para o busão. As pessoas procuram por caminhos gratuitos e, na maioria dos casos, aprenderam que as palavras "freeware" e "dicas" também levam a soluções eventualmente pouco funcionais mas que evitam os caminhos tortuosos da pirataria aplicada aos sharewares (aka astalavista.box.sk e similares). Tanto que é verdade que todas as companhias de software colocam lá frases num produto do tipo: download grátis, free download, etc. Você já deve ter notado isso. Ah sim: você eventualmente parou neste artigo pela presença da palavra grátis. :)

Quinta-feira fiquei sabendo que fui escolhida para trabalhar numa empresa, que eu havia enviado curriculo. Fiquei feliz! As coisas vão começar a mudar para melhor, suponho! Essa parte foi fácil.
Difícil mesmo foi pedir pra sair. Eu tremia...mas no fim foi "de boa" meu chefe não foi contra e também não fez escândalo,também não teria motivo algum para fazê-lo. Só na hora que falei que o novo empregador queria que eu começasse ontem, ele ficou meio assim.
De fato seria anti-profissional largar tudo assim e não volta mais.  e como quem tem boca vai a roma, consegui que me "deixassem" mais uma semana onde estou. Ufa!! Ah, eu nem sabia mas por conta do meu  acidente de percurso eu tenho 1 ano de estabilidade.

Ok, então o negócio agora é ficar sussa e curtir o finde! É, curti num evento, foi legal!
Mas como eu tava achando engraçadas as crianças andando que nem robôzinhos, eu fiquei o domingo todo travada! É problema de junta mesmo.

Enfim cá estamos, os aliens não apareceram ainda, e como eu desconfiava eles mentem muito por isso não acredito neles.. ahahah

Pengiriman pesan telah dilakukan Kamis (9/10) pukul 13.00 WIB. Oli Madgett dari Bebo mengatakan pesan tersebut sampai ke Bulan dalam 1,7 detik kemudian, dampai Mars dalam 4 menit, dan akan meninggalkan tata surya sebelum Jumat (10/10) pagi.

Target terakhir yang dituju adalah Planet Gliese 581C. Pesan tersebut baru akan sampai ke planet tersebut pada awal 2029. Gliese 581C merupakan salah satu planet ekstrasolar yang padat dan mengelilingi bintang serupa Matahari sehingga sering disebut super-Bumi.

"Pesan dari Bumi merepresentasikan kesempatan bagi pemukim digital hari ini untuk selalu terhubugn dengan sains dan alam semesta yang lebih luas secara sederhana, menyenangkan, dan mendalam," ujar Mark Charkin, jurubicara Bebo.

Ada tidaknya makhluk lain selain manusia nun jauh di sana bukan hal yang utama. Kalaupun ada, apakah mereka dapat mengerti pesan tersebut juga tidak terlalu penting.

"Yang penting mungkin sangat sederhana, paling tidak ini bukit bahwa kita cukup pandai membuat pemancar radio," ujar Seth Shostak, seorang astronom senior dari Search of Estraterestrial Institute (SETI) yang aktif melakukan pencarian terhadap alien.

Jadi, kalau ada alien yang menangkap pesan tersebut, mereka tahu ada makhluk yang sepintar mereka. Selain itu, mereka dapat melacak ke Bumi, asal gelombang dipancarkan.
